The good part of this mercato is the fact that more than half is still left and we have made some key signings. We clearly need more signings, but the squad already is better than last season. We can focus on selling some players, get hopefully 120-140m (Icardi + Dalbert + Mario + Valero + Vecino/Gags + Miranda). And then we can buy 2-3 big players for the midfield, forward and wing positions.

That’s nothing new, literally the same story for past N seasons.

We just have to cope by not buying as many reinforcements and try to reintegrate the players we cannot sell back into the squad.

Unfortunately, we are no longer the club that can retain 40 squad players and have a whole bunch of them sitting there doing nothing. And I mean actually doing nothing, not even subbed in for the sake of staying 11 body counts during the game.

A lot of times clubs accept the high transfer fees which kinda put the player in a corner.

Well Giaccherini has two Scudetti winners medals with Conte... What people consider bad or shit players will actually have a role and might help us win. Not everyone in the squad will be rated by everyone. Guys like Candreva might actually have a role now even though people hate them. That’s the beauty of having an actual coach now.

Witsel was one of the best mids in the world last season. Paulinho had a good season before that. That China money crazy. Nothing wrong with securing the futures of your childrens childrens children. Wonder how Oscar is doing.

And then put special focus on set pieces letting our CB behemoths contribute maybe 3-5 goals a piece.

No more relying on 1 or 2 players, let the whole team be a threat.
