For me, there is no sense to keep Casadei or Agoume as 6th choice midfielder. This means that they will get very few minutes in real action. It's better to loan them somewhere in order to get much more playing time. I'm worried even for Asllani, who is suposed to be a Brozo's back up, because i can see how Inzaghi will use Barella on this position again when is needed, and in the other time Mkhityarian will be used as rotational player with Asllani mostly on the bench.
Inter is not paying that much for Asllani just to stick him to bench. Unless he sucks, he gets enough playing time.

One question that I always have about Inter, and other top Italian clubs, when it comes to youth development is the chances our kids get on the main team. Why not have a talented primavera kid as a 2nd or 3rd back up, and give him some minutes in games we are leading comfortably and even some starts in coppa games? Why don't we develop some youth ourselves?

Too much pressure.
On the kids. By coaches and fans.
On the coaching team. By management and fans. To deliver results. Raw youth players are risky.
On the management. By fans. They expect quality transfers and kids are mostly gambles.

So it's a vicious cycle. Teams like Roma and Atalanta tend to promote their kids but we've seen that Atalanta hardly uses their players now and have developed a semi-permanent European presence.

Asllani can also play LCM or RCM, but I think he was at his best or most natural when I saw him play at deep playmaker role?

Against us Asllani played higher role and scored that goal. But over all in that game he didn’t get in the game or got that many balls in his feet.

With young players it is always bigger risk that they might make big mistake and cost the game? But we have good examples that even in bigger clubs young players can succeed if they play enough and get managers trust. I think Chelsea, Barca and Milan have done good job in recent years for playing younger players. But of course it means coaching staff need to put extra effort to get them ready for games and also fans need to be patient. It’s easier for coaches if you have ready/mature players who can do a job with less coaching.

Asllani is 4 mln loan, Bellanova is the same, 3-4 mln loan. Onana is another one to the free list.

Isnt that part of the development, pressure?

If they can't hack the pressure at top level then its a pretty easy decision where their future lies.

Being a 2nd or even 3rd choice playing 20, 30 or 70 minutes in a Coppa Italia, Super Cup would be the preference and then maybe a match where we are completely in control of Serie A with the final test being Europe.

Kids need game time, and I always hear we have a lot of talent in the primavera which seems to just get sold to trickle a couple of mil here or there. Soon or later we need a Zaniolo to break through!

remember when marotta said our transfer market will be pretty much done by the end of june. LOL
This shit will drag into august, just you watch.
Actually it's almost done. This week we have to complete Lukaku's loan and Skriniar's sale, and the next week to get Acerbi as a replacement for 8 mln + bonuses.

At Inter, results are expected. Part of the development is pressure but when they fail, they won't get their second chance, because of the thing I mentioned before this sentence.

At Inter, pressure is too much for young kids, unless they are really good and can live up to the expectations which very few have done.

Entire mercato in jeopardy just because Lukaku pressed for a return that makes no sense for Inter...

I wonder if the Belgian NT will also pay us for this or if they're giving Lukaku all the perks just in hope that we get him in shape for the World Cup.

Fucking Qatar and FIFA, this wouldn't have happened if it was played now like normal.

Oh fuck off, I forgot one of the reasons I want Dybala is that Lautaro, Correa and he will share the minutes in the WC so we will be guaranteed some fresh legs after international breaks. Lukaku will play every minute :palm:

i dunno if Suning could fund all Lukaku-Lautaro-Sanchez-Correa-Dybala-Dzeko at once. could this Skriniar sale fund and accommodate them all?

It is very likely that Correa does not get called up for the WC. Even Dybala is at risk of not making it.
