Am I the only who do not mind losing Dybala? Should we sign him, we have to pay 6.5 M/year for his wage and we have to make space for him by paying contract severance with Alexis plus other club will lowball us for Dzeko or Correa. That is too much cost for someone who repeatedly gets injured. Furthermore we already have Lukaku-Lautaro hence we are paying that much fee for a sub player. I myself prefer Dybala to Lukaku by a slight margin, but given the situation, signing Dybala puts too much burden on our club.

Some people concern about Lukaku being temporary while Dybala would be a permanent forward. In my view, that means he would be our problem for the next 3-4 years while we can still search other forward when we no longer have Lukaku. Sure Dybala is a brilliant talent, but his fitness track record is a red flag for his hefty wages and injured player is a useless player no matter how skillful he is.

Dybala went to Roma for 4.5m. There are even reports that claim agreement is for 3m.

What kind of red flags that caused all other teams to pass up on Dybala? That's honestly amazing.

This will be a crucial day ....

If we miss on Bremer and Dybala because of the inability to offload/sell Sanchez & Skriniar than its a major fail.

Not that i want Skriniar sold but what i fear is that we will lose Bremer and then still be forced to sell Skriniar by the end of mercato because of cash flow reasons.

As far as I'm concerned, there was no red flag. Premier League teams wanted Dybala too. But it was Dybala who only wanted to remain in Serie A. But of course he was tired of Inter's waiting game and picked Roma instead. Just be glad he didn't pick Milan though.

The "risk" with Dybala is both his track record and injury record. I can understand why, given our inability to sell Sanchez and Dzeko, we haven't been able to move for him, but to be objective about it, you'd be hard pressed to argue that he's going to be a safer and better signing than Lukaku for the coming season.

I'd still rather have had both, but if it was one or the other, I feel safer in Lukakus hands. Of course all transfers have risks and it may completely backfire but you can only do so much with foresight.

I would agree with you if we owned Lukaku. But we don't. It's just one year loan. We chose lease over own. Club keeps losing money, we need to make 60m from sales and yet we committed to 20m for just one season of Lukaku. You can't rationalize it from a financial point of view. If Chelsea don't agree to a loan extension next summer we are going to have a big problem. It looks very shortsighted to me.

At the end of Marotta's tenure here, I want the club to be better, not worse when he came here.

One step at a time. Our probability of success and thus the financial implications look rosier with Lukaku imho than Dybala right now.

Losing both Bremer and Dybala makes this mercato an abject failure.
Imagine that we shifted our priorities from Bremer, Scamacca and Frattesi to Bremer, Dybala and... whatever. And we're not going to get any of them.

Only thing that can save this shitshow is to get Bremer and keep Skriniar.

I mean we are putting Bremer is this crazy pedestal... I've seen the dude play maybe 3 times and no other team wants him. Juve just trying to troll us and crap Epl teams....

being broke is no joke. Hope we get new owners soon.

Our Mercato so far just two things.
1. Get free or low cost player as short term solution.
2. Get low cost young player then make profit from them in two years.

We cant get any huge target even for free, such as Dybala. Our owner shit. Its just matter time Rube come top again.

If not because Marotta, i see we already down to 4th place.

Watch us lose Bremer and still end up selling Skriniar to "finance our mercato" and find two players like Dybala and Bremer because we don't like stealing from silver platters.
