It's the sad truth, we are financially broken but I've seen lots of enthusiam thru our people at the last game with Monaco, especially for the newcomers.
Bellanova, Asllani, Lukaku and especially Onana have been supported at every ball touched from all the stadium, as demonstration of how much almost everybody knows the situation we are in.
Even if no big name will come during this mercato, I see a better team than the last year for all the reasons you posted up there.

Personally I would prefer the management do their job and sell the surplus players so we can sign Bremer and keep skriniar. But that's just me not been sympathetic to management and ownership doing a poor job...

There is always a club in the world who would take them . It's the directors job to find that club.

The problem isn't no clubs in the world will pay 5M for Lazaro. The problem is no one will match his current wages.

The main issue is not signing Dybala and Bremer but the public shitshow of amateur planning and execution. Keeping Skriniar is more important than buying Bremer so the current outcome is in everyone's favour. Now the problems. Problem number one is our board could contemplate selling Bastoni or Skriniar to fund this transfer. Problem number two is we have already locked on Bremer since half year ago when no one was in the race, but decided to dispute over few millions while publicly pushing out Skriniar who bleeds black and blue. It is true that Bremer threw the curveball by extending his contract but our response is much worse. With the current development, I will not be surprised if Skriniar becomes unsettled and we lose both key defenders in a single transfer window.

Now on Dybala case. Again, we have already locked on the target and everything was set for his arrival. He wants an Italian team who play UCL and afford his wage so here we are. Stupidly, we opt to grab Lukaku who costs 10 M fee + 10 M-ish salary instead of zero transfer fee + 6 M salary. I am slightly glad that our management show they have a single braincell instead of none by not forcing signing Dybala after Lukaku. But when we had to choose owning Dybala vs leasing Lukaku without Conte, I would choose the first option without a shadow of doubt even if I don't like the former.

Bremer is a true baller here. Man made a new 1 year contract, in the end he brought 50M€ to Torino and a 6M€ net contract for himself. A genius.
