Inzaghi said that he, owners and management agree that the market is closed. Other than a Rano replacement there wont be any changes.

Be funny if he quits once Dumfries and Skriniar are sold :)

That would be the biggest cluster fk.

Inzaghi said closed for incoming and outgoing except for the rano replacement. I presume he was referring to first team squad. Don't think he considers either augume or cassadei as part of the first team squad.

Yeah I can’t see either staying. Casadei will probably be sold and Agoumé is most certainly going on loan. The primavera guys we rotate in will probably be like Carboni, Zanotti, Fontanarosa.

Did you see how they welcomed him, like a new pope, it was beyond pathetic for a dude that didn't play a single game for them, so you better believe the hype is real when your fans have that kind of peasant mentality.

Peasant mentality? Thats passion and should be applauded. Its what made Ronaldo want to come to Juve, after a CL game in turin. Its why Ibrahimovic always wanted play in Serie A as a kid, Its why Lukaku see's Inter as his club, and why every big player would look at Dybala and feel a little jealous.

Its maradonna like.

I havent seen that mentality in any other league!!!

It's the textbook definition of sheepish mentality. Let's make a huge welcome in a square for a dude who didn't play one minute in our shirt. Btw, that's one of the main reasons why southern italian clubs are always lagging behind the north, besides the economic reasons of course. They make you a star even if you didn't win one trophy or even played one game in their shirt, and look no further for napoli and roma as prime examples of that shit.

You have warm welcoming for new players in turin and milan as well, but it's never thousands of people like it was in rome. They v made celebrations like they won a trophy ffs  Those types of celebrations are for trophies and legends like zanetti, maldini, del piero, totti, not for the newcomers.

And this shit is not trivial as it may sound, it breeds loser mentality and lo and behold I can't think of any bigger loser teams in seria a than roma and napoli, exactly the two teams whose fans you are expecting to make these pathetic welcomings without a hint of merit.

Disagree - I have no issues celebrating an arrival like that.

On the premise I have every right to turn my back on that player if they do fuck all! #AllorNothing

Meanwhile Marotta said before the match he understands Inzaghi but we also have some obligations to keep the club sustainable but also competitive. The only reassurance was there will be no "revolution ".

I don't believe for a second team is set for the season and we will just sign a cb as Ranocchia backup

We struggled against Lecce and won by some insane luck where the team celebrated a last minute win against a team that will be in serie B next season

I hate that Ruiz is going to PSG, I think he could have been a decent player for us.

And the other issue i have going into the season is we still dont have another CB to replace Rano...I assume dumfries/Skriniar are staying.

We sell a starter at this point of the mercato and the Scudetto challenge becomes so much harder.

If instead we just sign the backup CB and don't sell anyone significant, we are indeed ready.

If we sell Skriniar or Dumfries the "Scudetto challenge" becomes the "finish 4th" challenge.
