This season's team is not just about losing Perisic compared to the last season. Lukaku arrival not only did not improve the squad but we also lost Sanchez who had a bigger impact on our reaults than Lukaku ever did this season. So the attack line declined as well. None of our strikers are consistent and cannot be truated week in week out. And they lack the characteristics to change games on their own.

In midfield we didn't have Brozovic for a significant time because of injuries and poor form. Dumfries has also declined compared to the last season. In defence we are dealing with injuries to Skriniar and Bastoni.

If you make a list of our players, it looks like a strong team. But when several of those names have been out injured or struggling to get back to their former self then it's not fair to rate this squad on the names only, or focus the squad's decline to just losing Perisic.

But it's not fair to put the blame on the management mainly.
How fat and out of form was Lukaku, when Conte got him? How people here reacted when we acquired Darmian, Yong, Moses, Sanchez? How long Skriniar and Eriksen struggled in Conte's system? But the team was improving day by day, and at the end we won the title.
Now is the quite opposite. Who is responsible for the poor form of Lukaku, Brozo, Barella, Bastoni? The management or the coach? Who is responsible that with every other game we look more and more helpless? Why there is the decline of the squad? If we have new coach, and same declined players suddenly start to deliver again, who is to blame? Maybe the management again?

Never said Inzaghi is blameless. But in a collective work you don't look for one guy to put all the blame on him. Even if we look at as a pyramid then the owners who sit on top of this pymarid would be the first one to blame.

Anyway, always blaming the coach without looking at it holistically is just wrong and stop us from having a rational prespective of the whole issues.

The level of incompetence and stubbornness at the top of this club is alarming.

so, poor form of Joao Mario, Gabigol, Godin, Murillo etc caused by Pioli, Spallo, Conte respectively? not by themselves?

Lukaku case was similar like Scamacca right now, technically decline in chelsea, focus too much on stupid interview, stupid drama, complain too much into Tuchel and his tactics, create meme material based on his shit performance, poor touch. so basically Inter get trash package from chelsea in the name of lukaku. is inzaghi really do total responsible for lukaku shit performance followed from chelsea?

I don't think it's stubbornness. They're just afraid to take any risks and they just go for the easy choices.
True, yet I view inflexibility as a trait of stubbornness.

When the above mentioned players showed great form at Inter on first place? Never. I'm speaking for proven players with Inter's colors, not for newcomers.

We got same shit Lukaku from Man U. Fat, slow and out of form. Conte shaped him in a serie A monster. Inzaghi preferred Lukaku over Dybala as per many reports. I don't believe that all of them are wrong. And now Inzaghi cannot switch him on again. Why shall I balme Marotta and Ausilio for that, when we had Dybala as an alternative in our hands?

It all starts from the ownership. What they want, management will do the bidding for them. And Marotta is not some creative, risk-taking guy which would target the Scudetto with some random Georgian-born players (Giuntoli never had the task to win Scudetto so he can take Kvara-type risks easily).

@varmin you need to stop with that Inzaghi prefered Lukaku over Dybala narrative, it's not true. Don't believe BS Gazzetta has fed to everyone.

Inzaghi has a word on the transfers, and if he wanted Dybala, he would have had it. It wasn't only Gazzeta as far as remember. But anyway, did Gazzeta and other yellow papers were wrong for Zhang's and Inter financial struggles, that we have to sell starters and that Conte will quit? No. They can make up some stupid transfer rumors, but were quite accurate for serious stuffs.

I don't even think our management is competent enough to strengthen the team even if we had a considerable amount of money to spend. We have already discussed about how we need a change in our head management first of all. This club needs new ideas above everything else, and of course a change in the coaching role. But none of this will happen unless we get a new ownership.

I totally disagree. Sure, they've made mistakes, but not long ago this management constructed a really good first team, we already had players like Handa, Brozo and Perišić, and then in that time we added Lautaro, Barella, Hakimi, Banega, Eriksen, Dumfries (lol), Lukaku, Sanchez, Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni, Hakan,....

They aren't idiots, they have to work on a shorter budget than before and it shows.

I think the point is it's very easy for a management group to perform well on an inflated budget. There's a much larger room for error, so even bad transfer signings (like Sensi or Lazaro) don't sting as much.

Now we have no margin for error. Bad signings like Correa, Lukaku, and Dzeko can cripple the entire team. Marotta hasn't made a truly great signing since Hakimi. Unless we sell Onana for 80M to Chelsea, lol.

Alfredo Pedulla: “No One Is Unsellable At Inter Milan For €70M+ Offers – Including Barella & Lautaro”

SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla feels that there is no player in Inter’s squad who is truly off the market this summer, if the right offer comes along.

Speaking live on air, via FCInter1908, Pedulla even named striker Lautaro Martinez and midfielder Nicolo Barella as players who the Nerazzurri would listen to offers of around €70 million for during the upcoming transfer window.

Inter’s financial problems are well-known, as are the ramifications that they have had for the team in the transfer market.

During the summer of 2021 the Nerazzurri made two blockbuster sales in the form of wingback Achraf Hakimi and striker Romelu Lukaku.

Then, last summer Milan Skriniar was strongly linked with Paris Saint-Germain for months, and whilst the Slovakian did not make the move to the French capital that saga is set to end with his leaving on a free transfer at the end of this season.

There will be worry that more situations of this nature are on the way for the upcoming summer, and for his part Pedulla does not think there is any reason to believe that this isn’t the case.

“No one is unsellable, and I’m including Lautaro and Barella in that assessment,” the SportItalia journalist stated frankly.

“If an offer of €60-70 million arrives, Inter cannot completely close their doors,” he added.
