I think everyone has, but we had to offload one. And now Sensi is leaving, which allows us to go for one. If Vecino also left we'd definitely go for a top target rather than some loan.
But given that after the club's meeting we have shown willingness to spend and integrate future targets immediately, I think we may surprise ourselves here.


Not sure on the profile being looked at but Frattesi sounds about right since this player will be called to substitute Barella and/or Brozovic maybe, since he's a definite target.

We'll have to understand what the plan is for the day after Vidal, Vecino and Sensi are gone, but if it's a permanent player I expect someone with Vidal characteristics.
I am going to assume that Sassuolo is not willing to let anyone go now, neither Scamacca nor Frattesi.

So I am guessing Fabian Ruiz will be our focus if we have money to spend.

Villar left Roma, I was gonna say that he'd be our target if we only seeked a loan deal. But we may end up looking at guys like Van de Beek or Lo Celso if they're available on a dry loan.
Don't know why, but for the time being I feel optimistic about this target. Maybe I believe Marotta convinced the owners that winning against Liverpool is going to resolve a lot of issues.

After we've added Gosens and Caicedo and subtracted Sensi and Kolarov, we don't have spots left in our CL list. Remember we have only 3 club-trained players so our list size is 24, not 25.

So maybe we won't add Gosens since he's gonna miss the first leg, but are we really gonna do that if we're targeting to beat Liverpool (in management's risk-plans when determining should we go all-in into CL now) and head to quarters?

Though we can always add a new midfielder and leave someone like Vecino out. But that would apply to Serie A list too so we would effectively pay Vecino a salary and he couldn't at all.

Hakimi and Gosens deals went very quite until we found agreement with their clubs. Imo, Inter is working on big blow for the MF. We'll try Frattesi, but we would also try another one so we can try to reach high levels also in CL.

Reduce the sum to 40-45m and I would call it a fair deal (Scamacca 25-30m, Frattesi 15)

It's understandable for them to value Frattesi higher than 15 million though. I don't see anything wrong with a 60m evaluation, especially if we can include some players in there to lower the cash cost.

Realistically I think Ruiz or Aouar would only happen in summer 2023 when they’re free agents. Or maybe if they refuse to sign an extension we could pick them up on some sort of deal this summer befor their clubs lose them for nothing. I think Ruiz is more realistic for Inter because his profile is lower, Aouar has some hype that would attract premier league clubs.

Totally agree. Pinamonti (~20million) should be a save bet, but who else could we ship the other way? Pirola? Radu? Satriano?

If we can include some of those, then the deal will be great. And let us be honest, no one of our current youth player will have a real shot for our team. It is amazing that Di Marco worked his way to our bench. The only youth player I still haven't given up - especially with Cabral joining Fiorentina - is Esposito. So I hope that he will not be included in some transfers.
