I based that on the idea that Perisic would want a raise for next season, which doesn't need to reflect all other seasons, but the idea is that he'll be earning as much as Brozovic.
Perisic isn't worth a raise. I know he plays really well this year, but don't forget he plays as WB, which is phisicallly maybe the most demanding position. And I don't buy it, none of the bigger clubs will be after him (neither United nor Chelsea). We have the upper hand here.

They already are. These teams don't have a player like him as much as PL fanboys want to squeal.
The question is how much are they willing to give him and what he wants to do.
I think he wants to challenge himself and try a different league, but he's a family man and likes the life here. Was his family with him in Munchen? That's probably going to answer us a question about his future.

Yeah there were already rumors of Chelsea being after him and then Romano had to tweet that there is no chance Perisic will move in January.

No, they are not. No worry, Perisic will remain for a salary no bigger that what he earn now.

Dream scenario. Fiorentina makes Europa League spots, Sensi reinvents himself at Sampdoria, Pinamonti gets 10 more Serie A goals and we manage to reach a deal for Vlahovic: $$$ + Sensi + Correa (2 year loan or permanent) + Pinamonti.

Works for me :D

The elephant in the room is Alexis. If we buy another striker for Dzeko's role, we could not afford to have 5 strikers, all of them well paid. Too much. The question is how could we release Sanchez without bleeding money? A hand shake cannot be his whole salary. It makes no sense.
I`ve read that Inter can pay him 4M to release him from his contract, don`t remember the source.

Alexis seems to have gained more muscle these months, so hopefully him being stronger will prevent further injuries.

Haha yea that is always the dream.

But if we hasn’t dropped 30 million on Correa we would have that already. He worth 20 at most Now. Hopefully Pinamonti is worth 15-20 soon.

But realize epl teams will give them cash not our garbage with high wages.

So it’s still 30 million on top of those guys plus best youngsters

Paying Sanchez 4m to leave is a far worse option than paying him 9m to stick around.

I don’t know think if he doesn’t play he will want to leave. World Cup is coming and I mean I don’t think even a 1 legged Vidal or Sanchez will miss the call up but still.

We should have given Sanchez a new contract same $$$ just with an additional season. He makes too much a season. No one will pay him that we wages other than Everton and new castle who are desperate not to get demoted

His other options are Argentina, mls and Mexico. Again none will pay those wages for him

It's really not a slamdunk decision to pay Sanchez 4m€ to get out than keep paying him his salary if he keeps performing like he has done. If he just manages to stay injury-free, his salary is fine. Since he's an awesome player. But it's a big if.

To reiterate I think Sanchez gross salary is around 11m€ and the release clause is probably 4m€ net which turns to 6m€ gross (Growth Decree). So the gross difference would be 5m€. Who can we sign with 5m€ gross to then replace Sanchez? Not fucking much. :D That's like 2.5m€ if from Italy and less than 3.5m€ if from abroad. And remember, only free agents. If signing fees are added on top, we can sign even lesser talent with 5m€ annual cost.

You guys are stuck in the past. If we get 4 more good months out of Sanchez I’d be extremely happy. 5mil is still a salary for a player like Scamacca and maybe more.

That being said, yeah paying Sanchez 4mil to bugger off isn’t exactly ideal. We have weigh his impact for the rest of the season to see if it’s worth the gamble. If Sanchez stays, one of Correa or Dzeko needs to go. The attack needs new blood.

You're basically saying it's okay to sign a player of Origi's quality for 10m. Is he worth it more than Sanchez?
