Damn people, how can you even compare tham!?!?!? They are totally different tipe of players.

Rooney very often uses his speed to pass over the defenders. He has great, powerfull shot from distance. He has good finishing. And he is more as a striker.

Messi uses his tehnique to pass over the defenders. He doesn't have much of a shoot. He is more like playmaker or winger than he is a striker. so there is no point of comparing them, end of it!

There is no doubt Rooney is better than Messi. Rooney is a complete genious and the 'temper' is passion that makes him even better. He had a poor WC cos he is unfit from the injury and he is made to play upfront on his own which is completly absurd. He will become the greatest player of all time.

No doubt Messi has the skills but i reakon he will go the same was as Saviola and Aimar and not live up to the hype of being the new Maradona.
