Kovacic is a good example though Skriniar situation reminds me a lot of Seedorf when we sold him because he didn't fit Cuper. Just maddening decision. And knowing Inter, Conte will be gone in few months after satisfying most of his demands. It would be the most Inter thing to do.
I thought you knew the real reason behind that sale: has been said that Seedorf fucked Ronaldo`s girlfriend back then and was known to have the biggest 8====D in the locker-room. So it was either Ronaldo or Seedorf leaving.
don't believe in Smalling, he used to play in the center of Roma's defence, so its De Vrij's position. I'm afraid that Milenković*could end up too expensive and we get someone like Izzo/Ruediger who are mediocre defenders.
This is a very good observation, thank you. However some wrote that Smalldini was playing not in the center of defence. Can anybody back this information up please? Smalling is tall and might make sense for him to also underperform in LCB/RCB role, especially on 1 vs 1s.
Would a scudetto or a title justify this madness? I just can’t articulate but I feel like this club is becoming a stranger to me.
One could argue that Inter could/should win that Scudetto this season without Kante but with Skriniar in the squad.
if they sell Skriniar for no real reason I see no recourse for that. I hope the club does.
The reason was to free up funds to buy Kante, the most requested player by Conte [think of his insistence for Vidal and Lukaku].
Pirola and Bastoni are the future. Take the 60 and run.
Problem is, there was never such an offer.
If we sell Skriniar for good money, update that RCB spot and then somehow sell Brozo and buy Kanye for that spot, we would immediately be a much better team for Conte.
I agree with both posts but currently those 2 are BIG IFs that do not seem to be happening at all. I would love to see Kanye president of the U.S. but it might be too soon for that.
on-topic: we all appreciate the Skriniar that was hungry to prove himself here, not the shadow he became nowadays. No matter if he stays or leaves, I hope this will be a wake-up call for him - he needs his grinta back ASAP. To me it seems that he confirmed as starter, performed well and then took it a bit easy, because his salary is good enough. Unfortunately this is typical balkan mentality (here in Romania as well), so I hope he can still regain his determination and performances before it`s too late for him to continue on top level.
