IF you are Skriniar. Tell me what would you do?

You can see this team won't win the title, won't have any chance for CL, even qualifing for CL might be hard this season (yeah we'll probably get there in the end, because we still have a better team than Roma, Lazio, Atalanta)

28 years old. Prime years! 6 years already at Inter. You can start fresh in Paris with a golden contract , playing with your old pal Hakimi then Neymar, Verratti, Mbappe and Messi. Not watching Gagliardini coming in or 35 year old Mikhy or Lukaku's desperate attempt on his first touch. Or listening Inzaghis girly voice. Playing for sure silverware in France and being in the top5 odds for CL every year.

Its almost outrageous to say no to that.

I would looked at Inter, no project, broken owner, broken manager, no trophies, no hope, low salary, always on market if a good offers comes.
I would looked at PSG, good salary, guaranteed rise if performed good, playing with Marquinios, Ramos, Hakimi, Messi, Neymar, Mbappe, at lease several guaranteed trophies, great city, not less than Milan or even greater, not like Manchester or etc.

Is is difficult to decide?

Guys, enjoy his captaincy while we can.
Maybe he says something to Inzaghi about his coaching decisions and favoritisms and he strips him of it and gives Marotta a great chance to pretend it's all on Skriniar, who knows?

If I was Skriniar, I'd leave Inter immediately. The owners clearly have no ambitions.

I completely agree, but Inzaghi's voice is incredibly deep man

Hilarious Milan are going to retain Leao and we’ll lose Skriniar for free.

Too unassuming to be captain of this inter.

Was kinda expecting:

This situation is very shitty, after the 20th, I'd alienate him from the team if he's not signing. Best to move on

I don't remember any player who put himself above Inter and ended up benefitting from that. There were far superior players than Skriniar who thought the grass is greener on the other side, but time proved they were wrong. I will have no hard feelings if Skriniar decides to leave Inter, but I don't think it will be a good decision for him.

But who will Inter use if they dont want to include him on the team then?

From my understanding, this Skriniar case are not Skriniar put himself above inter, we can consider the Lukaku thing when he move to Chelsea are one but not Skriniar,
because from my understanding, Inter are always going to sell Skriniar, they try it multiple times and failed.. They never declare Skriniar not for sell.. they always listen to offer...

Uhh R9, cannavaro, Pirlo, Zlatan (kind of minus the CL), Motta to some extent... Sure i m forgetting some....

Also i m not saying skri has to stay but i would be very dissapointed if he does not sign a new deal with a low release clause say 40 mio just so that we dont lose him for free...

Times have changed. 2023 and onwards is all about the maximum wages and project you could sign to. Skriniar is the best CB in SerieA together with Bremer and Bastoni. He can ask a WC salary now. And there are clubs ready to guarantee that for him. We are offering double, but PSG is offering triple. Add a free signing bonus , in Skriniar case he can demand atleast 10-15M€ to his agency. Because he is worth 60-70M€. PSG still can pay that and want to pay that along with the regular 9M+2M bonus 5y contract, because in the end that sign on fee is 4x still cheaper than paying 70M€ to us.

We are probably offering lousy 2M€ signing bonus with 6M€ net and captain's armband, but the Inter project is still weak compared to what PSG, Real Madrid and City are offering. Top top wages, WC teammates, best coaches and higher chance of silverwares.

But Barbora might be on our side in this one. They've settled in Milano.

What silverware? Imma say it now, PSG will never lift the coveted UCL. I'll go on to say Inter will win before they ever do.
You are being ridiculous. There were times when Skriniar WAS THE ONLY real motherfucker on our squad.
YEs. He's better fit for the role that Toro or Barella or Brozo. But this team needs more. How often does Skrinny rally his team mates or inspire confidence? Twice Caldirola found himself on the end of a header in the space of 2-3 minutes, not once did I see Skrinny be furious or hold anyone accountable. As a defender he should be incensed about conceding a goal. Especially given our "goals against" record. Instead he has an "oh well" demeanor. Sometimes indifferent. Great player and defender. But too mild mannered. Barely vocal. To contrast look at Thiago Silva.

Marotta - “Skriniar contract expiring in June? We have no deadline for that deal”.
