It's alright to leave for money, I'm fine with that. He shouldn't have talked so much shit about being loyal, changing his name etc. though, cause that now looks ridiculous and he led some fans believe he was something he's not.
Lukaku is A LOT WORSE than him. At least Skriniar was here for multiple of seasons.

Yeah don't talk about Hamsik if you're not willing to walk the walk. It wasn't like Hamsik was paid top money at Napoli. I respect his decision if he decides to go after money. But Hamsik talk back then wasn't wise if he does the opposite then.

Also, Skriniar hasn't signed with anyone yet. So let's not blame anyone yet.

Funny now the discussion infers Skriniar leaves because PSG offers bigger money. Remember we are talking about the man who fired his agent because he was so eager to play for us. And of course our team treated him badly. You should guarantee the player of his class with not-for-sale status. What we did was trying to offload him for 2 seasons in a row against his will. If only our management have more than one braincell, they would already secure Skriniar before his contract ends and I wager he would accept less money as long the club respects his motivation to play with our jersey.

If you didn't notice, Zangi are broken and everyone is for sale, on the right price. There is no one untouchable. Forcing out means, to freeze the player out until he accepts that he is no more needed and agree to move somewhere or to advise his agent, to find him a new team. That wasn't happened to Skriniar as far as I know.

He similarly talked a lot about loyalty towards the club though, only difference is Lukaku has done it with 5 other clubs which adds to some hilarity. But comparing their acting towards Inter and the fans is not too different, both fucked off for more money and it all comes to just that.

He s still here though.....
Like PSG offred us what 50 mio last summer and we declined despite knowing our situation i would not call that shopping him around. Also if you give skriniar a break cause it s a shit ton of money then you should also give our mgm a break for trying to sell him cause It would have been a shit ton of money and this club actually desperately needs Money...
Like how is it disrespecting a player when you refuse to sell him for 50 mio despite being desperate for money?

Anyway as many stated before playing the blame game benefits nobody and if he ends up leaving both our mgm and him have to take responsibility

Football is not a sport anymore. Until UEFA introduce "salary cap", football is joke. But, UEFA is full of corupt rats, and do not wants fair play for all clubs. Few clubs can spend 1B for salaries, others 100M. It is not possible that PSG make 10x more revenue than Inter, Milan, Ajax, Atletiko... Where is FFP for them, Real, Barca, MC, MU...

just to play the other side for a second (since no one is). It is possible Skriniar himself was prepared to go to PSG last summer and didn’t want to renew and this is why we were trying so hard to sell him— there was a ready made replacement in Bremer. Instead we waited to long and Juve swept in. PSG’s president even said if we didn’t accept the 50mil last summer, they would get him on a free this summer. Well he wasn’t bluffing. Steven was dumb not to sell him at the time. Of course you can argue we should have gotten him to renew much earlier when you probably could have (this is also my opinion). But if the club kept tanking, he still might want to move anyway.

Just let it go— he’s gone. We need to get to the drawing board about how we’re going to replace him in the long term.

One thing is that we - as fans expected him to stay and sign new contract - this is normal. I just cant accept that our managment didnt foresee this situation and act wisely to avoid it. 50m or whatever PSG offered in the summer was more than enough for a CB with last year of his contract unless you are sure he signs new one - but if you are sure you have to get his sign on paper. FFS this is a big money business and Marotta is one of the best players in the game, how could he not foresee it?

Didn't they literally try to sell him a week after he said that? lol i'm sure he felt some type of way. Anyway, i agree he hasn't made the final decision yet but the way management has treated star players is pretty bad. the whole situation with perisic, they're even trying to swap brozovic for fucking kessie.

We just need these suning frauds to gtfo the club, we're speedrunning back to banter era with the way things are going

Can we make a poll to see who's to blame? PSG, Skriniar, Management, Sunning, the fans etc.

Also I think we should still keep him as captain till the end of the season, switching captain like this is just too resentful, bitter and childish; it makes the captain arm band cheap. If he gives it all and we progress in CL; it is not that bad.
Also he finished his contract, there isn't much to blame; he didn't force his way out, we left him hanging when he wanted to renew for a way lower salary.
Remember he fired his agent to sign with us; loyalty goes both ways, been saying this when we tried to sale him.

If this is the case, I think the fans ourselves share a chunk of responsibility; pressuring them not to sell.
