I don't think he is world class yet, but he has the potential to be there one day. Players like Valverde and Bentancur were easily dispossessing him at the WC. Skriniar is not agile at all, that's why he will struggle against explosive attackers. I am not wishing anything bad for Milan or being butthurt cause he is leaving. To be honest. Leao is world-class player. There is not much players like him in the world, every defender is struggling with him.
ok, it's full of Karamohs and GervinhosLol, no it's not.
Now you're getting somewhereok, it's full of Karamohs and Gervinhos![]()
Well, currently he is playing at a world-class level. He reached that potential. Will He keep going on that level? We will see, since he is an ACM player, I hope no.I don't think he is world class yet, but he has the potential to be there one day. If anything he's playing at mediocre level relative to his ability (the current mess @bbilab certainly didn't help him). Also I'm not sure you can called him world class yet, to me world class should be reserved for players who play on the level the likes of benzema, salah, mbappe etc (for attackers). No attacking players in serie a is world class for me. Leao, kvaratskhelia, osimhen might reach that level if they keep performing consistently for several seasons at current form (last season form for leao)Well, currently he is playing at a world-class level. Probably cause out of all the playeres he was the easiest to replace, especially with Bremer... i also think Bastoni, Barella and Lautaro (guys inter would have to sell to make money) are better. Theres also the thing that Skriniar in a 3 man defense is just not that good. Perhaps if you put him in that center spot, but we didnt see enough of that. Also, for our system, the wide CB needs to be good on the ball, should be able to make runs forward and make good passes. Those are 3 things Skriniar is not good at. He did improve, no doubt, but i dont see him become Bastoni. All in all, he was never the best defender in the league and idk when he was the best Inter defender. Prime De Vrij under Conte was at a level, Skriniar never reached and probably never will, as the only thing he will do in France is stagnate. But, sure he will have a bigger chance of winning the champions league and thats about it. Playing 6- 10 imprortant games in a season wont make him any better.Never understood why Inter management, owner, and coaches don't rate him as we do here.
No one rates him mate, he is a traitor who should have signed a contract so Marotta can shop him around on Ebay, free shipping.Never understood why Inter management, owner, and coaches don't rate him as we do here.
You have no idea what you are talking about, there is no other player in this team what is even close to Skriniar in terms of consistency of performance over all these years...I tell you what.Skriniar was stagnating here, because of management and all teammates below his level except maybe Brozo...Lautaro has one good half season,Barella 1 game play like a God other 3 games like sh.t...Do you remember in CL Barella stupid Red card when we need him the most? You have no idea dude...Bastoni is talent but not even close to Skriniar in terms of importancy for the team...You are exactly the malicious fan I was talking about.Probably cause out of all the playeres he was the easiest to replace, especially with Bremer... i also think Bastoni, Barella and Lautaro (guys inter would have to sell to make money) are better. Sorry mate, but the bold part is pure bullshit. Skriniar was from a nobody at Sampdoria to a worldclass at Inter. He would never earn that fatty paycheck had he not come to Inter. Tell me a bigger growth? As I read the comments to Milans address from so called fans I am happy for him leaving...If Milan had weaker moments, it was always because the club was giving him problems...
I remember how Conte made problems for him and the club treated him like a rag...He wanted to sell him, then he didn't want to, then he wanted to, then he didn't want to...This club was literally destroying his career instead of helping him grow...Skriniar was only lucky that he has a good strong character, other players in his place would have ended up in Verona...
He never complained but always worked hard and honest for the club... Even though he didn't do 100%, he still was one of the most important and most used players every single season he was here and he still earned as much as some substitutes...
You have been calling Skriniar names at every opportunity, throughout his career at Inter...Often untrue because you just don't understand football, and the fact that Skriniar is leaving for one of the richest clubs in the world is proof that you don't understand football....Loyalty, oh come on...Give me one reason why a player like him should be loyal to today's Inter ?
Milan could have chosen between better salary plus better conditions for development VS bad management and fake and malicious fans...He chose first option as anyone would...
Milan is a world class player and I will enjoy every single minute he will play here for us...
I'm actually avoiding to post in this thread again because i think i already have enough to talk about this whole Skriniar thing but your comment making me want to reply..Probably cause out of all the playeres he was the easiest to replace, especially with Bremer... i also think Bastoni, Barella and Lautaro (guys inter would have to sell to make money) are better. was he the most consistent player over the years? yea, perhaps, he and De Vrij were both pretty consistent. Same goes for Brozo, who had hot and cold spells and became consistent during Conte. Lautaro for sure. We know he has at least one bad spell during the season. I don't agree that he had just one good half season. Perhaps he had, idk, 3 good seasons, but its ok, i don't look at stats, so i dont know mate. And Bastoni not being important as Skriniar? LOL.. yea, if we don't have Bastoni, who will offer the extra help in attack, that Inter need? Why do most Inter attacks go through the left side? Why isn't Skriniar so up the field and on the positions Bastoni is in multiple times per game? You know why? Cause he ain't good at it, thats why. And i don't need to watch any stat sheet to see he is not a great passer, i can see it in games. His passes are often too fast and he's just not that good on the ball, sorry. This is no ''hate'', but just facts. He is probably a better defender than Bastoni, but for the Inter style of play, Bastoni is much more important. Thats why we domintated Atalanta, cause Darmian became similar to Bastoni and is actually good with the ball. But hey, enjoy watching Skriniar in France, i am sure his ''stats'' will look even better there. You have no idea dude...Bastoni is talent but not even close to Skriniar in terms of importancy for the team...You are exactly the malicious fan I was talking about.
Skriniar doesnt have passes?Look at his stats pass accuracy you clown...
i don't hate Skriniar, i just don't care about him as much as lots of other fans do. I said it before, that i think the management did a mistake not renewing or selling him in the summer, and I blame Skriniar for talking bullshit to the fans that he wants to stay, even after Inter tried to sell him... Losing him is not a problem for me, as i don't think he's great, i've been saying this for year, this is not something i just came up with cause he's leaving. Losing him for free is the only problem... Also, taking the armband, when he knew he won't renew is a piece of shit move, so yes, i consider him a cunt, but still don't hate him. Now he can be just one of the guys at PSG, as Zanetti would say and get his money, which is the reason he left.I'm actually avoiding to post in this thread again because i think i already have enough to talk about this whole Skriniar thing but your comment making me want to reply..
Assuming what are you said are the truth and what you said here are actually what Inter management are thinking about him and the thing you said are not because you hate him for not signing new contract, i'm glad Skriniar did what he did right now... Move to other place who is willing to pay him much better, because this is what he will get if he stay due to "loyalty"..
In Sampdoria he was probably best young CB in the world...He was dominating us when we played against Sampdoria,he was dominating German and English national teams as MIDFIELDER! If you believe that other big clubs didn't follow Skriniar at Sampdoria then you are wrong...Sorry mate, but the bold part is pure bullshit. Skriniar was from a nobody at Sampdoria to a worldclass at Inter. He would never earn that fatty paycheck had he not come to Inter. Tell me a bigger growth?
We gave him the Inter's captaincy. We offered him the maximum that our current situation could allow. And "Inter treated him badly"? Really?
Come on, I understand our management did not handle the situation well here. But please don't react as if Skriniar is a victim and the rest (fans including, you said) are garbage. He was a fucking liar about his "love" for Inter to build an icon for himself; then what, accepted the armband and signed for PSG shortly later. He could sign for whoever he wants, of course, but do NOT use Inter honor as contract leverage.
