Don't forget the part where we actively tried to sell him every 6 months since Conte.
Which pissed off everybody, as far I can remember.

He came in 2017 and helped us rise to where we are now. Can't fault the guy to go somewhere else, but I'm afraid he'll never be the same after that injury.

irrespective of his own form, i think he's going into a club where the management dont reallly truly appreciate good defenders, the prize will always be attacking flair, and I dont think him by himself will be enough to make PSG a successful club. If you were talking like, early 00s galaticos, then someone like Skriniar could have come in and made a huge difference to them, but I dont think he'll get the opportunity at PSG really. He'll be a sure starter, for sure, and will have reasonable success there, etc, but that club is always going to have internal politics, drama, etc, while the owners bow to attacking stars like Mbappe in terms of power balance.

I do wonder what how PSG will look next season if Neymar and Messi are really leaving (Messi for sure, not so sure about Neymar)

they've also got a backdrop of financial challenges atm too right? in terms of FFP and what not? I might be wrong, but i thought they were having to sell to comply anyway

EPL is calling for Neymar, but I don't think it's worth spending for him

All those injuries and absences... who is gonna take him? Chelsea

He's not gonna start any match for sure. If Torino match is irrelevant and we're winning it, he might come in at some point.

We need all the help for the CL final and there's always a possibility we need to get CB in at some point in that match to defend (or then just injury).

It's close, I think it will be 57 matches which is the fucking maximum of matches. Then add all the NT matches (World Cup + qualifiers/friendlies). It's fucking insane and doesn't make any sense.

Pretty much, we are still paying his salary. We better utilize him when needed and not be butthurt about the whole situation.

yeah, he might have some use towards the end of games, thats fine - but he shouldnt even start on matchday 38 if we're already guaranteed to qualify tbh, Building up his fitness a bit over the next few weeks and games is the best chance he has of some non-shit contribution in the CL final if needed

I don't really get the Skriniar hate to be honest. You're punishing him for the boards mistakes. The guy was brilliant in all of his years playing for us and won us trophies after a long drought. He was a key part of what got us back into the champions league and challenging for titles.

People act like he forced his way out. He played out his contract without causing any trouble or issues.

I'm not saying he's innocent because ultimately he chose money, but it's really unfair how he's being treated.
Fuck that.

The only mistake the board made was trusting this money hungry cunts words.
How is it the boards fault that a greedy cunt is greedy? He lied for a year to get more money and a bigger signing bonus from PSG.

Next to Gagliaridni he should rightfully be our most hated player. With the clubs financial situation, losing a world class defender for free is disastrous, the only reason it doesn’t seem so bad is due to the UCL run.

I'm sure there's plenty to criticize Skriniar for, but he isn't responsible for Suning's financial incompetence.

My opinion is pretty clear: He was our captain, he was loved by the fans and he decided to not extend the contract so he doesn't want to be part of our club anymore. That is why he should not be part of the team in the CL final. He can watch the game like his new teammates at Paris do it - on the couch in his own house.

Three months is a long time to not have played.

We may need all hands on deck but I personally, I hope he has played his last game for us.

Afterall, we do not need another going away present, similar to Gagliardini's red card against Napoli.

The way I see it, we have done without Skriniar up until this point and there is no reason for us to try and squeeze something out of him when he has not played for so long. And this is espcially the case when his heart and head are already in Paris.

If he plays at all, he should simply be given dead minutes at the end of a game.

He made his choice and should know his place.

I prefer in the stands sitting next to icardi, Ivan and hakimi. They all talk about regrets and how the grass isn't greener. 🤣🤣

haha PSG might get Kim from Napoli and SKriniar will eat bench. So he won't get to play with Messi, Neymar and get knocked out of champions league early next season.

To be fair, he already gave Inter the Gagliardini goodbye present in January vs Empoli
