Yeah, he's not having central role in the defense since he left us. Only 5 caps this season so far. But he knows Italy very well and would be definitely an upgrade to Juve's team. Let's see

I don't think anyone wrote Conte off already, at least I never said so. Always said that he's still a great coach and can make a team win trophies, especially in Italian league. His work ethic and winning mentality is an example though.

As for Lukaku, the guy is plain garbage. If you're watching their games, you can tell that he declined A LOT, in almost every aspect though. He doesn't have that explosiveness anymore, doesn't seem to be able to take on players on 1v1, lacks agility and so on. Just because things are going well for Napoli these days, doesn't make Lukaku any better from what he is. The guy is completely washed up, and only reason he's still relevant at such level, it's because of Conte.
