Skriniar has a contract for only 1 more year. Obviously PSG can tempt with double your wages, even 10M€ net if bonuses are met. Thats 50M€ in 5 years and he'll be 32/33 then without any worry in the world. Twice the money compared to us.

I hope he'll stay few more years, wins us that 20th scudetto and maybe few more , then leave at 29 for big money. But he might never be offered the same money PSG is offering atm.

We would never get 80M€ when he's 29 too.

They also said that Bastoni had also accepted Spurs offer… which was not the case? No?
Lol this is the right attitude, reliable sources like Fabrizio is saying that PSG is interested, nothing about Skri wanting to leave. Shit journalists are having a field day and people are buying it lol

Yeah because if you earned 25M in 5 years you need to be worrying about what job you going to pick when you retire.

I really hate this argument. It's not like Skriniar needs to work after his career if he stays at Inter right? Normal people would leave there jobs the next day if they can double their wages. Footballers are millionairs no mather what top club they play. People need to accept Skriniar is a player who doesn't give much about money and he wants to stay so saying PSG can tempt him with whatever offer they make is just something people assume. This guy bleeds black & blue and showed in the past that money isn't the most important thing for him.

Not sure why people are mentioning this constantly. I doubt there will be any problem to extend with him if we want that.

Without Beppe and Ausilio we would have Romagnoli-Rugani CB pairing.

Like Inter accepted less then what they wanted for lukaku...

No, that was not a similar situation. We didn't accept less for Lukaku. But we accepted less for Hakimi. This is a similar case to Hakimi. Club wanted to sell the player, like now club wants to sell the player. Inter never wanted to sell Lukaku

No money in the world can buy what he brings to the club and what it means to have a player like him in the squad. Especially nowadays within the modern football age where players want to leave because they get a higher travel allowance at another club.

This looks like suicide. We are basically sacrificing our strongest attribute, which is our defense, without any clear direction whatsoever. Even more baffling, we are selling all three of our starting center backs and thinking we can simply replace them by signing random players, and expecting them to slot in seamlessly into our formation.

If we really had to sell to generate some fund, we could at least try to offload the weakest of the three in De Vrij, then replace him with either Bremer or Milenkovic. It's a terrible idea to overhaul the whole back three with entirely new players altogether. Our solid defensive trio wasn't built overnight. The fuckers running this club think this is as simple as playing Football Manager.

If it was foreseeable that 2 of the current back three (maybe all three) of Inter’s back line are or were likely to be on the market this transfer window, why didn’t the Bremer deal happen during the Winter market.

I thought Mr.Zhang was in Milan since January 2022?

Paying more for lack of planning! Where is the foresight?

Inter Fans: we should start following the Milan model and buy young players to sell them at their peak to be sustainable.

Also Inter Fans when the situation happens: Suning out, mofo.

Guys, what do you expect us to do? One has to go… I wouldn’t touch Barella and Bastoni for obvious reasons. I would think about selling Lauti, but then Dybala is coming (and maybe Lukaku), and this will be some crazy chemistry shit.
Brozovic is untouchable, because he is far more valuable for our game than the money he would provide. Gosens is untouchable for obvious reasons. Only players touchable in the starting eleven are Dumfries, De Vrij, Calhanoglu if an attractive offer arrives, and Skriniar.

Even though he is captain material and of high reliability, he is one of the easiest to replace in terms of quality. Getting the rumored 125mln Euro for Dumfries, Skriniar, and De Vrij would get you Molina, Bremer, Milenkovic, and Akanji/Senesi, and you still would have made money, even though your squad becomes deeper and arguably better.

On the other hand selling Lautaro for example would mean that we have to invest heavily in order to replace him. I don’t see a striker worth under 50mln Euro capable of doing what Lautaro does for example.

So as much as I love Skriniar if it’s the best for the club it may be him going. Nothing and no one is bigger than the club and it’s interests and getting money out of Skriniar is not putting money into pockets, but putting money into running a financially crippled club.

Skriniar is the one player I never want sold.

He should be made captain, a statue of him should be erected and the statue should be made vice-captain.

Anything less is a fucking scandal.
My bitter distrust of Suning will turn into murderous disdain if Skriniar is sold.

We expect Zhang to either invest in the club or sell it. This wanting to keep the club but not put money in it is BS of the highest order.

You guys better learn to live with the departure of Skriniar, or any players. I don't want him sold, but with the state of the club right now we don't have much choices. I just hope if he's sold it's not for cheap and the club reinforce the squad properly.

Objectively getting 70-80m for Skriniar when he only has year left on his contract would be a great deal for Inter.

However, CB's are seemingly hot on the market this summer and if Bremer slips away due to better offers to him and Torino, then the alternatives that Inter have been linked with are not very good.

Imagine Inter replacing Skriniar and SDV with Demiral and Milenkovic, that would be quite the downgrade as neither are scudetto material and Inter likely cant afford/attract anyone significantly better at CB in the current market.
