“Message to PSG - for less than 80m Skriniar isn’t going anywhere. At the very least, 70m plus bonuses. Total opposition to 60m as of today.”

Jesus Christ this is an actual copy paste of the Hakimi deal. It’ll be 55+5 in bonuses by the end of the week. We must be the worst selling club in the world.

You guys better learn to live with the departure of Skriniar, or any players. I don't want him sold, but with the state of the club right now we don't have much choices. I just hope if he's sold it's not for cheap and the club reinforce the squad properly.
We do. Our owners could cover the costs as agnelli did for gobbi this past year or as moratti use to do. Zhang is the issue not our expectations.

Our message to PSG should be this.

" if you can gather the richest sheihks, Sarkozy , Macron to convince Mbappe to stay in Paris on top of the 300M€ contract, then you can afford to pay 90M€ for the best CB in the world"

Objectively getting 70-80m for Skriniar when he only has year left on his contract would be a great deal for Inter.

However, CB's are seemingly hot on the market this summer and if Bremer slips away due to better offers to him and Torino, then the alternatives that Inter have been linked with are not very good.

Imagine Inter replacing Skriniar and SDV with Demiral and Milenkovic, that would be quite the downgrade as neither are scudetto material and Inter likely cant afford/attract anyone significantly better at CB in the current market.

This "one year left of the contract" dynamic doesn't work here as usual. In Skriniar's case he's not pushing for the move. Actually it's the otherway around, he's pushing for the extension. So he's gonna be sold as if he has a long contract already because if we don't sell him, we're going to extend him. Usually in "one year left of the contract" cases the price drops because the player wants the move and he's not signing an extension so the club needs to make a decision.

Only issue is of course that our owners want that big sale so they might force the sale without the possibility for us to milk everything out from the buyer.

He will be sold for 80 million or given a long term contract to stay. It’s not like he has 1 year left and wants to leave.

He will be like Lukaku will be sold and leave to fix our finances.

I rather keep him. He has 5+ solid seasons in him. Not like we have anyone on loan that is promising and can be given a shot.

Fuck PSG. They would have paid 100 M for Arelian and won't go over 50 M for one the best defenders in the world? Keep Skriniar and let Bremer goto Tottenham. Better than somone else in Italy getting him. Re-up this guy ASAP and stop negotiations!

Only thing I’m sceptical about is that PSG don’t even have a manager yet.

I know Skriniar at this point can walk into defensive set up, but still.

It's a power struggle at PSG. Campos wants to bring Galtier but Qataris prefer a more "glamorous" name.

There were lots of rumours in France and he seems to be Qatari's top choice but it was denied by Zidane's side. I guess we will see. They haven't even officially sacked Pochettino yet.

Skriniar
I thought Zidane would never take the PSG job coming from Marseille etc.

Also it would be interesting to see if our nightmare comes true and Skriniar will move to PSG. Because either he benches Marquinhos or Kimpembe. If he benches Marquinhos the South-American clan will be mad and when he benches Kimpembe the little French connection will be mad.

He needs to stay here and become an Icon like Zanetti. F*ck the money, there are more roads who leads to Rome.
