Yeah, feels so bad.

But indeed purely in on-pitch terms, indeed it makes more sense to let go off Skriniar than Bastoni. Player like Bremer can somewhat replace Skriniar's on-pitch role.
Bremer is the logical choice to replace Skriniar. From what I’ve seen they have similarities. Anything less will hurt us though. Milenkovic or the Dortmund guy are just not on the same level. And with the way De Vrij is trending, our strength at the back might turn into a weakness.

For a back 3, Bastoni is invaluable. But he isn't good enough as one of 2 CBs, not yet at least.

In terms of finding an equivalent player of similar ability and skill, Skriniar is definitely simpler to replace.

Just curious. If you guys had to choose between selling Skriniar or Bastoni, what would be your choice?
Skriniar, bastoni's skillset is very rare. Plus bastoni being the younger of the two.

The sad part is that even if Skriniar is sold for a record fee, it's all about saving the club from debt. Which would be okay if we stopped giving out large contracts, sold what we don't need and actually gave Skriniar a contract already. It's like we are forcing him out, I wonder how he feels about it

I think he would be pretty happy living in Paris with double the salary.

The truly weird thing is how we did not renew his or de vrij contract we knew we were gonna sell one of them and extending their contracts would have netted us a couple mios more when selling.
Thinking about it 70 mio for a guy who has 1 year left on his contract is a lot no matter how good he is..
Imho thats the main reson psg is lowballing us.

Like talked before, I don't think the lowballing works here. Skriniar would be happy to extend immediately if given a paper to sign. It's not about player pushing the move and refusing to sign a renewal. That's the logic why players with one year left of the deal is sold with lower valuation. That's not the logic with Skriniar.

The logic is the club wants to make money so the buyer isn't going ANY higher than what is have to. Thus they are lowballing, ie. finding the value which the seller finds acceptable eventually.

Sky just said that PSG is still not making a new offer and Inter is not convinced of the offer they made, they want 70M. I start to believe that we are gonna sell someonelse at the end. It's similar to Dybala, it was done for a while and then the situation changed and we still don't know if he will join.

Yep, Lautaro is next up if the Skriniar is dead in the water, then after that......Barella on deck!

It's a matter of time, both will be sold for the "club's future".

Selling stars and replacing them with cheaper options will make the club "financially healthy" and we will be better than Porto, by that time Real will win their 25th CL, but who cares, we will have "sustainability".

Serious talk:

Inter: Here's 15m+Gagliardini for Bremer.

Cairo: No Thanks!

Plus pinamonti :). We are throwing trash Torinos way. We don't have money. I mean its not Fifa we can't offer them Radu + 10 million. Going to be Pinamonti + youth Players + money in the future. Would prefer Gags + Pinamonti straight swap then giving them a potentially very good prospect.

Skriniar, he's a better player atm, but i want Bastoni to stay. Young Italian, talented as fuck, and he's fuckin left footed, you know every time i watch him play, i see Materazzi Samuel combo.

The only thing i'm worried about is Bastoni's face and hair is similiar to golden boy Ranocchia.

even selling both Bastoni and Skriniar still far from "sustainability" for Inter because Suning prick increase more losses and deficits by sign old fossil with high paychecks. and another news, our owner main business in China also in big trouble (add numerous debt, making loss for last year financial report)
