It's even worse when your national team is Ireland.
its even worse if you're scottish
its even worse if you're scottish
fuck NT brakes...
It's even worse when your national team is Ireland.
De Boer and Marcelino are only playing 1-2 formations. Pioli is much more flexible.
Hopefully we will se some fast passes and a inteligent defend..
Let's talk about our goal scoring threats...
Icardi 10 goals
Perisic 3 goals
Eder,JoaoMario,Banega 1 goal
that's 16 goals...
Roma scored 29
Torino scored 27
Rube scored 25
Lazio 23
Napoli 21
Cagliari 20
Bbilan,Atalanta 19
Inter,Udinese 16
Relying only on Icardi to score goals
a poacher playing lone striker with 2 wingers who don't even come close to help him...hogging the byline and leaving Icardi stranded...those crosses helped rarely! We need to stop that senseless crossing and take a more direct approach with direct attacks down the middle more
yes FdB is to blame...that's why he was fired,he didn't right his wrong...
Our df isn't even that bad tbh,we conceaded just 14 goals like Chievo...Bbilan conceaded 15 times,Torino 16 times
Atalanta,Lazio,Napoli conceaded 13
Roma conceaded 12
Fiorentina and Genova 11
Rube 9
:work:
Maybe we can make a swap
Gabigol with Felipe Andersonblivious:
Wasn't he touted to be "tactically flexible"?If I understand Pioli's style, his biggest demand will be a playmaking DM like Biglia. It would be really ironical if Pioli asks for sacrificing Gabigol to buy someone like Biglia, because that was the standoff that led to Mancini leaving...
More likely, Pioli will try to convert one of Banega or Mario into a playmaking DM.
Yeah. He had tried many different systems at Lazio. His favourite is 4-3-3 but he had also tried 4-2-3-1,4-4-2 and 4-3-1-2. So practically anything with 4 defenders.Wasn't he touted to be "tactically flexible"?
And yeah, most likely Banega. Mario would be wasted there.

Btw i don't like it when a coach is too tacticallt flexible. In my opinion, a coach should stick with 1-2 formations. Changing formations really often could confuse the players about their roles on the pitch.
