Potentially, but those formations are all so simlar it would be good to have that flexibility. Can shift formations if we are under pressure and getting over run in midfield, if the flanks are weak, you get my point. I think those formations are all so similar it shouldn't cause that much confusion.

Yep. Also Mancini did it last year and also at La Grande Inter years. Of course its not like he played 433 and then the next week 3412. Still he changed basicly every week. We won Scudetto with like 100 points. It was a better team but still that formation changing had worked.

I have been wanting to see Inter play their best players - the only formation that suits our best players is a very attacking one:

Jovetic - Icardi
Perisic - Brozovic - Banega - Mario - Candreva
Murillo - Medel - Miranda
Handanovic

With Pioli, I think the above is impossible now... will never happen. Strangely enough, the coach who would love to play something like the above is Prandelli.

I like the look of that. Either we rip them apart or we get ripped apart.

Let me tell ya a secreat...
Pioli played a 3-4-2-1at Bologna,sometimes 3-4-3 at Lazio
He played almost all the formations known to man,he is just super flexible with formations, maybe a reason of many why he was brought here
Since Ausilio and JZ know most about football in our mgmt and were his advocates...

Medel-Miranda-Murillo
Ansaldi-Mario-Brozo-Perisic
Banega
Eder/JoJo-Icardi

I think Candreva deserves bench with his latest shit performances

I get your point about playing our best players and this is the only way we could do that. But even if a coach was willing to do that, i don't think it would work. It's extremely weak defensively in the wings.
As for Prandelli, he has tried a formation with 3 in the back only at Italy NT. I don't think he's really fond of that formation.

That's what CorSera suggest we could play:

I don't think Candreva's performances have been any shitter than the rest of the midfield. Isn't he the one with most assists for us this season?

And do you seriously expect Pioli to bench the only player he knows at Inter? Candreva was a key element of Pioli's Lazio, some of his careers best performances came under Pioli. More likely Candreva will be to Pioli what Stankovic was to Mancini during his first stint... his man in the dressing room.

Nah, forget about benching him.. I am hoping for the opposite, that Pioli brings out the best in Candreva.

Except PIoli and Candreva aren't really the best of friends, Candreva felt slighted he was passed over for the captaincy. He's been pretty public about his displeasure.

Perisic at wing-back is a waste of his talents.

Thats not true. With Mancini it worked. But if you only play offensive its of course diffrent.

The only time I recall Perisic playing wing-back is when we lost 4–1 to Fiorentina.
