Not playing Gosens instead of Darmian is a huge missed opportunity. We know Milan will center all of their attacks through Hernandez/Leao on the other side, and playing Darmian will neutralize any sort of counter-offense we'd muster on the left. Gosens would trounce Calabria physically, and the the only thing playing Darmian offers is defensive solidity, but Junior Messias or the Belgian Bowl Cut Cunt shouldn't be too much of a worry, even for an out of form Gosens.

This way, if you want any sort of momentum on the wings, you're banking on Dumfries going forward and pocketing Leao and Hernandez at the same time. Very unlikely.

Most of us hold Gosen in high regard but the player looks lost on the field. Actually he is afraid to be caught in possession and he rarely makes forward passes.

Dimarco is always looking to play the ball up the field and Darmian is a big game player.

These teams tussled for the Scudetto to the final round last season, but have stuttered a little to start this term.
