This has probably been put up elsewhere but apparently Preziosi helped to persuade Motta and Milito to join Inter. Subsequently there is a danger our scudetto could be taken away and both players contracts annulled. Its all here for anyone who wants to read it though not sure what truth is in it...

The issue is that apparently preziosi was still suspended so he wasn't allowed to directly sign deals to sell players.

There's no risk about Scudetto and Milito/Motta contracts....the only risk is that Moratti could be suspended for about a month (just like what happened to Secco,he did the same thing with Preziosi with the Criscito deal)

Anyway one of the gds editors is surprised it took a whole year to refer this. They feel if it merited refering then it should have happen a long time ago. They say in the past only small fines and a small suspension has happended, so nothing to worry about.

The credidible sources have already said at worst they expect a slight ban for moratti 20-30 days and a small fine. Since that's what has happended to others in the past.

You should read the statement from the FIGC (using a decent translator), as it says "non appaiono attendibili le dichiarazioni rese dal dott Moratti", and that isn't a very nice accusation.
Also, when it comes to doing business with people that are banned by the Italian football federation, the rules have changed (and got sharpened) some time ago.
The sanctions - if any - can be very ugly. But, yet again, nothing should happen.

But, Stefan, excluding this episode, this summer is very likely to become a very hot one for Inter: other trials are moving on (not only the Calciopoli one, but also Telecom), and these can become very nasty.
