There are reports that Hakan will be absent and Lautaro on the bench.
So the likely line-up could be

Thuram-Taremi
Dimarco-Mkhi-Zielinski-Barella-Darmian
Bastoni-Acerbi-Pavard
Sommer
Looks pretty good, and most of them are fresh with no international fixtures.

Don't have one.
Yeah, I read inzaghi is going for some changes for this one ahead of man city and milan games, which is completely understandable.

Derby for me is THE game out of these three. I just want us to slap milan once more. You would think it would get boring after we beat them so many times but nah, my sadistic tendencies are coming out

It will be good to see Zielinski, but I think he should be playing instead of Miki. Inzaghi will want the Armenian for both City and Milan, so he has to rest him here. Asllani - Zielinski - Barella. Thuram and Taremi up front and take off Thuram as soon as the match is safe. Carlos Augusto and Dumfries at full-backs and it should be a good game for Bisseck to play, even if it's CCB.

It's a bit of a tricky situation.

Monza away isn't generally going to be an easy game for us. Even last year, the scoreline betrays how the game went by and large (we escaped a Monza 1st half goal because Bastoni's ass narrowly played the attacker offside), certainly we won't go in expecting an easy time. We also know that playing the usual XI (give-or-take De Vrij/Acerbi and Dumfries/Darmian) three straight games is imprudent as well, no need to do that at this point of the season.

The FM approach probably says you rotate the City game - a game we'd be unlikely to win regardless, rip the Band-Aid off and fight other battles - but that doesn't work in real life. If we have CL aspirations this season, you don't back away from one of the top challengers. You may not beat them or even get a result in Manchester but you at least want to see where you stand and what to work on should there be another meeting in the knockout phase. It's a mentality thing and it translates across competitions. So Inzaghi is likely to use our best XI for that game, and he should.

We could probably rotate for the derby and still win, lol. Of course that won't actually happen and I'm kinda pissing myself just writing this little joke.

If forced to choose a game for some rotation - maybe not to the degree Gazzetta predicts, but getting some of our bench players in the lineup in general - this game really has to be the one.

Not a fan of making too many changes in the starting line-up, no matter the opponen though. There is no easy games these days, and despite that Monza haven't won yet, they are still able to damage us. It's still only beginning of season, so these standings can be tricky sometimes.

Frattesi deserves to be a starter tonight. Zielinski was average for Poland, Frattesi was MOM for Italy scoring in both games.

I expect Frattesi & Zielinski to start. Most importantly, I expect a win after merda's result.
