aaand as soon as the Zielinksi dream started it's already dead.

We've consistently seen Augusto predicted to start at LCB however. Is it wise to start both your LWB's at the same time despite two massive games in a few days? Why exactly can't Bastoni start?

Mkhi, Frattesi, Asllani never looked good when we tried it last year.

It's a forcible change. Resting Hakan and Barella for City game.

We should win, but this is a trap game too. Best thing get 3 points looking good while exerting as little energy as possible. Wednesday and next weekend We have more intense games.

Yeah, this will not be walk in the park.

Asllani and Frattesi starting. Carlos Augusto also. Win would be massive here.

as expected he's not starting frattesi with barella as they said before the game. And still no Zielinski, maybe he will start against city who knows.

Should be 2:0 our win if Frattesi has a good game.

I know it’s crucial to rotate, but i would have been more comfortable with Hakan playing and Zielinski instead of Mhiki.

Good line-up, fresh at the back.

We probably want to lock the game early with Lautaro starting.

An in-form Frattesi might deserve a start for this game.

A little concerned about starting both Carlos and Dimarco as we don't have anyone else to cover that position if both are exhausted or take a knock.

Good to see De Vrij back in the starting line-up.

Thuram could continue his good Serie A form tonight.

I’m surprised that Lautaro starts. Otherwise I think it’s about what I would expect. Hopefully we have the ability to take Mkhi off after 60 and give Zielinski his first minutes.

Bisseck must feel a bit disappointed. However Pavard didn’t play internationals so it makes sense he plays.

I will say that a game like this is where the Hermoso signing would have made more sense than Palacios for example. We are playing Dimarco despite his heavy minutes in the international break because Inzaghi doesn’t trust our natural LCB back up.

I fully understand Limone but I'd also not be surprised if we draw here with this lineup

think the line up might be SLIGHTLY complacent with 2 backup CBs in the game.

We need to win the next 12 or so games to keep pace with last season, cant afford to be complacent now

Yes, 3 points and a focus on Monza is a must here, and it's understandable that Inzaghi has fielded the best team available at the moment.
