And I just want to say that Shawshank Redemption isn't the best movie ever made (which according to imdb voters is the case) and probably not even close, but I've always really liked it and it has an amazing score.

I've never seen Papillon or The Dreamers.

I've never understood why Titanic is such a loved and acclaimed movie. If you take away the amazing setting and the importance the sinking had in our history I feel it's a pretty generic love story

I've never seen Papillon or The Dreamers.

I've never understood why Titanic is such a loved and acclaimed movie. If you take away the amazing setting and the importance the sinking had in our history I feel it's a pretty generic love story

It's just special like that. Still, Cameron's specialty is boring movies, he's good at CGI, but mostly does boring movies. Avatar was a snoozefest for me.


Also, how did u guys felt about Prometheus. I was personally disappointed greatly, what was Scott thinking?

It's about the impossibility of redeeming one self, because of the meaninglessness of existence.

That is my take on it, at least. And it sounds high-brow, but it really isn't. I was moved, as well as entertained.


Anyway, a Dane has a controversial movie in the making.. the title itself indicates that people's opinions of the movie will be divided.. to put it mildly.
