Cavill is prettier, but wasn't he already in Man from UNCLE?

It has been more than a decade since I last saw Spiderman (2002) and it still holds up, to a certain degree. Sure it has Sam Raimi goofiness and some of the scenes make glaring plotholes that are never answered in any way, but it is a quintessential comic book movie.

I can go back and watch those movies anytime, I love them so much. Only downside is they make me realize how frustrating the MCU spider-man is.

MCU Spiderman is the most in line with the comics Spiderman big screen character imo.

Pierce Brosnan had the face and style for James Bond but not the talent imo. I liked him, maybe because the franchise evolved with him (also entered the video games arena with the best N64 game ever), but looking back he's probably the worst actor to reprise the role, but was lucky that the films grew in budget during his time.

Timothy Dalton was the best Bond imo, but in terms of actors I suppose Roger Moore (like Dalton, a victim of bad directorship and perhaps low budget or bad allocation) and Sean Connery (the original) are more talented.

I hope they pick Henry Cavill next, with Tom Hardy as the alternative.
Would be either of them, they are too famous now, traditionally they pick a least known face.

You sure on that?
Apart from Connery I don't think this is true.

He will most likely be the new Bond because of the wokeness situation. I have no objections to this because although Craig is British ,for some reason he always looked like a proper Yankee to me. I mean if Craig can be Bond then Elba can definitely be Bond.

As you know I'm a big fan of The Wire which means I love Stringer Bell. Elba was also brilliant for his role in ''Beasts of No Nation'' ,but that's all. Somehow it seems like he always plays the same person in his other roles. I don't think it will be a big problem though because you don't need a lot of talent to play the Bond role.

P.S.
If any of you have not watched Beasts of No Nation yet, watch it now. That's the best war drama of the last decade.

Who do you think was the worst James Bond actor of the ones you've seen?
Lazenby appeared in the shittiest Bond movie. I have no idea if he was a good actor overall or not, but the movie wasn't for sure. It's got to be him.

Anybody saw Dune? If ever there was a movie to go see in the theater, it's this

Not yet but a friend of mine watched it and she was pretty ecstatic about the movie. Especially about visuals and music.

Have to say, I barely had any fucking idea what was going on. I was on the piss the night before seeing it, so was hanging like a bat which may not have helped.

:D Villenueve movies are only for a clear head.

I thought they explained it well. The spice, the emperor, how houses work, the Bene Gesserit. The world is set, now we just need the next movie and this could be the Star Wars for LOTR fans
