Last week, I realised that waking up at 3:25am to watch the Derby while I have two kids under 5 (4 years old and 14 months old) was complete madness. If we had won the game, it would definitely have made my day more bearable but I spent the day in an absolutely shit mood: downcast, angry and resentful.

I stayed up from 3:25am that morning to around 11:00pm. And by the end of the day, after caring for young kids, I was absolutely shattered and decided that I am not going to watch anymore 3:30am matches . I can't do it anymore because I am an Old Cunt. I will forego live matches at 3:30am and watch full replays to see how we played.

So this post is to wish our boys luck. I really hope that we have learned from last week and that we will do everything in our power to win this game. More than anything, I hope that we will not take anything for granted, play for a full 90 minutes and play to win and get three points.

I also hope that we will not think too much about Liverpool and that we will make Napoli our priority. Lastly, I hope that Inzaghi learns from his shit substitutions and that whoever enters the fray in Naples, will do so with the right mentality, knowing that they will have to fight, battle and scrap until the end.

Love you guys!

FORZA INTER!

Been there, done that. In a week or two you’ll find yourself waking up at unimaginable times on a weekend once again just to witness Inter getting massacred by Udineses and Veronas of this world

Yea Inter is a choker We will finish at 7th place, we hardly beat the likes of venezias and Empolis, losing to Milan and Juve and let their fans mocking this club is what Inter fans wish every week

My god we need to win tonight. This will destroy all the rival's confidence and hope. And their fans have been only talking about us, its better to avoid twitter or any other footie site today. Napoli needs a win 100%, their schedule is the hardest among the contenders. Rube and us has the best schedule then Milan , but we also have 2x CL and Milan can rest so that evens it out. We just can't afford a mistake.

I liked that after letting Milan win the derby we didnt let Roma even a sniff on a potential win, they had 1 shot on goal on full 90mins and it was their best lineup. Im wondering how will Spallo play this. Rival coaches has implemented new tactics , instead of attacking us they now completely focus on nullifying our threaths first. Allegri did this, Pioli too. But we still manouvered out of their plan in first halves in both matches . We had gazillion chances to destroy them and be 4-0 up at HT , but we wasted all that and suffered a 120min terrorist tackle ball by Allegri and 3min blackout vs Giroud.
But all's good, still first with a game in hand, Bastoni is well and soon back, we feared more serious injury. We will have new attempt on Milan soon , but before lets Put that match on our waiting list and focus on tonight.

The only fear I have is how the Bastoni replacement handles the pressure. And for Lautaro its time to put the ball into the net, enough!!

SKY, GdS, fantacalcio and SOSfanta are all predicting the same lineup. Dimarco in for Bastoni, Dumfries over Darmian at RWB and Lautaro / Dzeko up front.

Probably for the best all things considered.

I strongly dislike Dimarco at LCB because I think he's a fucking putrid defender. But, at least he'll be able to offer some of the offensive threat Bastoni does, if not even more.

So we prefer all out attack without defense, if napoli score 2, we score 3. I am sure 100% Napoli will attack Dimarco everytime.

I am bookmarking this post just for the moment Dimarco makes Politano look like prime Robben. :D

I argued in the other thread that Darmian might be a better option but it is what it is. The logic is to replace Bastoni's left-footedness and his offensive output with the closest substitute, Dimarco.

But it all depends on Inzaghi's mentality heading into this match. I agree that a draw is not the end of the world, but a loss would be disastrous.

This team has proven beyond doubt that it can not close shop, defend and play on the counter, like Conte's Inter.

All we can do is play our game, and try to score. I'm hoping that approach allows us to make full use of what Dimarco offers. I hope we get to see him take up an attacking position outside the Napoli box, take shots, make forward runs and put balls into the box.

If Inzaghi pussies out again and tries to play defensive, Dimarco's going to be a complete liability. We need to keep possession and attack in order for him to have any purpose.

If Jesus plays I can see the ex player curse header from a corner goal!

GAMEDAY BABY!!!!!

How are we all feeling (*UK miss first 15mins on BT due to UK law*) The optimistic side is telling me 3-1 today but my head is only telling me 1-0 so I'm going to predict a well hard earned victory at 1-0.

I think it's a W for us, but neither Spalletti and Inzaghi will make it easy for us

Not very confident about the game, considering our strikers form.
