- Kick off: 20:45 CET

- Inter's previous 5 games: WLLWW

- Napoli's previous 5 games: WWWDW

I thought maybe we could talk about something other than the shitshow happening today.

Let's be honest, the first leg of this should have been a stone cold 0-0, and they got away with a classic Gattuso smash-and-grab away goal. While I have no doubt that we can go there and win, it's not going to be anywhere as easy as that the 1-3 victory last month.

Personally, I would start Sanchez and Lukaku here. Lautaro won't have seen the pitch in 2 weeks by the time this game is on, and he's always a nice option to bring on from the bench. I also hope to see a Barella-Brozovic-Eriksen midfield here, we need to be able to go head to head with them in terms of technical ability in the middle of the pitch. Bastoni-De Vrij-Skriniar at the back, please and thank you. Handa should be fit.

In terms of Napoli, Allan and Gattuso have had some issues recently, and I think Mertens limped off against Barca though I have no idea of his current condition. Gattuso has managed to stop them leaking goals left and right and Demme has slotted in very well there.

Regardless of all this though, we need to win and get to the final. Not even to win the trophy, but to fuck with those FIGC bastards and their shit scheduling.

And, as always, forza Inter and Juve merda :interflag:

0-0. Lukaku misses a tap in.

The Lega kind of wishes that we lose this match so we are out and can play Sampdoria match on 20th May, the only available date. We have to make sure we play the final so we can give our big fat middle finger to the lega.

As much as the scoreline isn't great, the fact more-or-less is that, if we win, we'll probably advance. Only a 1-0 scoreline doesn't do it for us, at least not initially.

So that's how the boys have to go after it as well. And we've already gone there once this year to win a game, so we know it's not beyond the capability of the team.

Napoli have suggested “it would be fairer for all concerned if Juventus-Inter was played on Wednesday, postponing the Coppa Italia semi-finals to May.”

The fixture list has already been thrown into chaos by the Coronavirus outbreak, with over 1,100 cases confirmed and 29 deaths.

With the five Serie A games set to be played behind closed doors this weekend – including Juventus-Inter – rescheduled to May 13, the Coppa Italia Final has also been moved to May 20.

Now Napoli have a new proposal and it’s set to radically shake everything up yet again.

“We are faced with an emergency of a global scale with the Coronavirus and must therefore respect the decisions, but football is nonetheless an industry that must be protected,” Napoli chief press officer Nicola Lombardo told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“To us, it seems that it would be fairer for all concerned if Juventus-Inter was brought forward to Wednesday, so the two Coppa Italia semi-finals can easily be postponed to May.

“Otherwise, the tournaments are going to be distorted by these changes. If games are going to be moved around anyway, it would be only right to ensure the fairness of the Serie A tournament and of the individual teams if Juventus-Inter is played on Wednesday and the two Coppa Italia semi-finals moved to May.”

The first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals has already been played, with Juventus-Milan set for this coming Wednesday March 4 and Napoli-Inter on Thursday March 5.

Juve-Milan would be open to fans from everywhere except the regions still under lockdown, which are Lombardy (the capital being Milan), Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.

I doubt this will happen

Reasonable proposal. Not gonna fix but Serie A is more important than Coppa.

I imagine our players are already so frustrated with all this postponement and not playing, that they are like angry dog on a leash just waiting to start runing, grabbing, biting, eating grass etc.

We will manage this, not easily but we will. 3-1 Inter win :interflag:

Milik out of Coppa Italia match?

Napoli have announced that Arkadiusz Milik did not train with the rest of the team and is doubtful ahead of the Coppa Italia game against Inter.

The club wrote through their own channels that the Azzurri “prepare for the match against Inter at the San Paolo” and concluded with a list of injured players only working in the gym.

“Work in the gym and on the pitch for [Kevin] Malcuit and [Kalidou] Koulibaly”, the statement read. “Milik, [Fernando] Llorente and [Amin] Younes only did work in the gym.”

The news comes as a blow after Dries Mertens picked up a knock in the Champions League match against Barcelona last week and Milik looked set to step up in the cup game on Thursday.

Corona cases in Piedmont region have increased to 51. They have no grounds to play the game with fans. Of course this is Lega Agnelli so everything is possible.
