I've been watching a few games recently and they are just hoofing the ball, like they've been doing the past few years, beyond the 3pt arc - I miss the old style of NBA (more physical, more technical footwork,...)

The 3pt era is boring and damages the 'product' of the NBA. They should start restricting the threepoint attempts (3 or 4 attempts per quarter) so it can be used as a strategy. And in my opinion it would also build more tension in the game and add more value to a made three.

I didn't like them aswell - but there is a difference with that Warriors team and what we are seeing now. The Warriors played some great teambasketball at times - But, nowadays everybody thinks they're Steph Curry and there is hardly any teambasketball/passing left, they're just shooting threes -

Daryl Morey is some General Manager that got fascinated by random baseball, yes baseball, statistics, and wanted to implement that into basketball. So the metric assumes that a 3 point shot is more efficient than any double (except a dunk), so it's best to shoot threes than twos.

They seriously tried to push Antony Edwards last season during the playoffs. Now it seems Cooper Flagg to be the next posterboy

Meh i ll give you Lamelo though the hype has started this year and if he was in a bigger market he d probably be a "superstar" or atleast on the wy there... If he keeps it up he ll be one even if he stays put.
On zion man fuck that dude dude was way overhyped when he came to the league and the fact that people are still hyping him just pisses me off... Yes injuries have been throwing him off but lets not ignore that he is lazy as fuck and has a eating problem... Dude has been out of shape for most of his NBA career which imho also lead to the countless injuries.... Yes he is talented but he has nobody to blame but his own lazy ass for not being up there. Kind of a Alvaro Recoba of the NBA all the talent in the world, some bad luck with injuries coupled with a terrible work ethic.

On the next superstar first off sorry i forgot Giannis, also i ll never understand that Jokic is not marketable....Have you guys seen a pic of him when he was like 14 to 16 just a chubby tall kid now most of america should be able to identify with him... And there should be tonns of kids with him as an idol if this non athletic dude can make it by just having superior Basketball IQ and fundamentals why shuld the average kid not be able to do it....
Plus he seems to be super relaxed and funny so i really dont get the he s not marketable... How would you fucks know if you never tried.
