Need help: Insert a gif file????

How do I insert a gif??????? :chan:.....:yuno::yuno:

My usual (outdated) technique is to upload it to a site like Photobucket, and paste in the direct link using the

tags.

This method was popular in like 2006, so I'm sure someone here has a better method.
