I am just guessing here but maybe they are trying to make a distinction because if its a tiger shark they can try and track and hunt it down. Whereas if it is a white shark, which is a protected species, they will not be permitted to do so.

Cage diving with great whites is definitely on my to do list. I'm gonna do it in South Africa or Australia when I get a chance before I die.

Unless you like the cold i d advise you to do it in australia, went diving once in SA almost fucken froze yes i had a bit of a shitty rented wetsuit which surely was part of the problem but thats all they had unless you brought your own gear. Also no booties nothing for your hads/face.
Gets fucken cold fucken fast.
So if you wanna do it in SA bring your own gear or just be mentally ready for the cold.

At the end of the day, they simply should've asked the players if they'd be comfortable wearing it before moving forward with the idea.

I don't really think sport needs to get involved in political matters, though.

Having said all of this, I note that the players sighting religious and cultural beliefs for not wearing it seem fine with having Pointsbet as the main sponsor.


As for BeIn Sport, I haven't seen any advertisements from them through Kayo, but it's encouraging if that's the case.
