Careful what you wish for.

I have mostly seen this pic on Juventus fan accounts on twitter so i am not sure this is going to be the new logo.

According to La Repubblica, company's name will remain FC Internazionale Milano. Inter Milano will be the launch campaign for the new logo.

This is idiocy and travesty at the same time. Suning must realize that Inter is more than business machine; it is history, soul, and identity of Interisti. Suning can change anything about the club policy such as finance, personnels, venue etc, but not the identity because it sticks for the lifetime and should be preserved.

I am certain this decision is for promoting Inter outside Italy, to make it a global brand they say. However, I do not see how changing club's logo and name which have existed for more than a century would contribute to it. I never heard someone interested in supporting a club because of its cool name and logo except if Suning plans to sell Inter-branded toys for children. Football clubs expand because they win achievement and this should be what Suning thrives for: focus on aspects which strengthen Inter as a club such as youth academy, transfer policy, coach appointment etc.

Changing the name and logo of the club is similar to a singer who changes his name and undergoes plastic surgery so he can stand out among competitors. If he has to do it then maybe he sucks at singing at the very start . And instead of focusing on training his vocal and managing his album sales, he decides to "modernize" his name and tampering his face. And guess what, nobody turns head to him because he still sucks at singing.

Inter Milano, sure go for it. Just don't change the name or whatever.

Not sure what the status of Inter as a company is with the brand name that precedes it (company was formed in 60s or early 70s iirc).

The name of the club will switch from “Football Club Internazionale Milano” to “Inter Milano” to highlight the legacy between the club and the city, report La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere della Sera.

Fuck, what now? Are we now "Inter Milan"?

What face am I going to show to all those people who I have ridiculed for calling our club "Inter Milan"? Inter, why you do this to me?

Tbh. i never really liked our logo compared to the 5-6 last ones we had because they were great. Of course it could be worse, im not saying it's ugly. But compared to them it's the worst one.

The last (fake?) "lakes" about the Logo are anyway really ugly..

I'm pretty sure this will be the logo change. I think it is good, a balanced mix between tradition and modern style. Just compare it to the bland Rubentus logo next to it.

Simplifying the logo to that ^ (basically removing some outer circles) is fine. But the reports seem to suggest we'll be going for some juve-esque stylized I and M. That I don't like.

I'd be ok with something like this. Classy yet modern.

Maybe somoene here knows more about it, but I think I heard some years ago a club (or ManCity or PSG, don't know it anymore) changed their logo so they could create "new imagine rights" or something similar.
So in the consens, it was a move to get out of some "copyright" stuff from the old log...? Does anyone here reminds about this story?
