We qualified from Group 5 as group winner with 10 points out of 6 matches and our topscorer is Fransesco Furte with 3 goals from 5 matches.

We will face Arsenal in the last 16 on the March 6th

Some said Arsenal has a good team, especially the midfield, but they played badly this year.

Liverpool don't have the same team as last year. I think they are going to get their ass whooped

Chuba Akpom and Serge Gnarby are Arsenal's best players. They will provide the biggest threats.

KO-games are played in one leg in nextgen.

Has someone watched the game and would share his impressions? I'll probably watch it later, although the result doesn't make it interesting. Some kind of strange, because in the 35 minutes i watched of first half, Arsenal got no chance, only some "english" tacklings.

we dominated quite alot towards the end, but i only got in reasonably late. the problem is this team doesnt get to play with flair - they're set up to be very tactically disciplined, and just long ball long ball long ball.

well i watched the entire match and for sure we didn't deserve to lose.
Arsenal's goal was their only shot in 90 minutes. I'm sure that with a normal pitch we could have won easily . Arsenal just parked the bus but in that pitch was impossible to pass and we didn't have Forte to be an aerial threat.

Anyway with that said , this loss is just the predicted outcome for this manager. Me and those who follow primavera have said this over and over. Bernazzani did a poor job with this team. Only long passes and counter attacking football when we had probably the best midfield in this group age (and the dominated possesion vs arsenal shows that) .

As for single players i am starting to see some skills in tassi but i still don't understand who was that genius that decided that italian football shouldn't have trequartistas anymore and transformed every one of them in deep lying playmakers such as we did with tassi and kovacic. They are transforming the best players in the history of football in some persons who can deliver long range passes and this pisses me off.
Bandini is showing some promise too , as for the others they are not good enough for serie a level let alone for inter in the next years.

the attacking line up is dreadful, i dont hold much hope for quite a few of the defenders (e.g. Longo, Zaro).

Be cautious when writing off any youth player, though. I would have happily written off Longo at the start of last season when he was very poor.
