If Real try to insert any buyback clauses in this I say stay the fuck away. I don't care how good he is. We aren't a feeder club.

if they sell him to us for 15-20 million with a 50m buy back cool :)

Like others have mentioned ..... they are very stacked. he also wouldn't be a slave. If he wants to stay here he can stay.

Most probably it will be 30-35mln. And this makes no sense for us. If he develops well, they will trigger the clause and resell him somewhere, just like they did with Moray some years ago.

at 30-35 Mil. That is out of our price range. Plus we already fkd up trying to get a prospect for that amount of money in Frattesi

If we double our money with the buy back or more than do it. This type of player is out of our target range. We are dealing the the biggest club in the world and you are like nope let him go to Ac Milan because of ego !

50-60 million? How many of our players have we sold for that much? And again he needs to want to go !! They buy him back for 15 sell him to us for 20-25 and have a buy back of 50+ million. Then fk do it. Do it with all the top prospects. We have 0 budget if its hey develop players and then double your money thats awesome

The 2nd biggest club in the World Bayern Munich does this and then fking loses all their players for free to Real or Barca. Tho they do the same thing to poor Dortmund.

we sell Paz for 50 million he is 5th all time sale for us tied with Icardi and more than Ronaldo !! Slightly less than Onana at 4th....

only guys more are Hakami 68m, Ztlan 70+ Eto(or was eto like 30 mil of that), and Lukaku haha at 113 m :)

but sure.... cry about a buy back clause.... you make it sound like Inter would accept hey buy him for 30m sell for 33/35

A post full of inaccuracies.

Icardi, Hakimi, Lukaku, Onana. So basically every starter we have sold since 2019. We would have also sold Skriniar for 50m if Zhang hadn't blocked it.

The 2nd biggest club in the World Bayern Munich does this and then fking loses all their players for free to Real or Barca. Tho they do the same thing to poor Dortmund.

The only player Bayern have lost for free to Real or Barca is Alaba. No one else. So it's one. Not all.

Tony Kross to Real was on a free no?
Also Paz is great replacement for Mikitharyan but getting him sounds super complicated and Marotta doesn't do complicated ...

Marotta doesn't like buyback deals. The price will probably go too high to buy this kid 100%.

But let's see, he seems very, very good so Beppe might make an exception. Our business model will probably rely on player sales too so it's not like when we buy players, they will be with us for 10 years.

I would posit that the more Paz looks like an absolute gem, the more likely it'll end up being Madrid keep him for themselves in the end. Ancelotti won't be there much longer, he'll surely get a look if he continues performing and developing like this. As I wrote earlier today, Madrid had interest in Wirtz previously, they could use another creative mid, and of course any left-footed player will always be in strong demand. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they agree with Como to keep him one more year then trigger his 2026 buyback. I hope I'm wrong because I'd love him here obviously, but this isn't quite a Hakimi situation from a few years ago where a fit just isn't there for an academy product Madrid otherwise wanted to keep. They can find space for Paz.

Yeah it can be tough for us to sell Inter to Paz. Inzaghi isn't going to give him starting minutes right out of the gate. So the difference between being at Inter and Real wouldn't necessarily be different in short-term.

What could be our advantage is the fact Mkhitaryan is old. Zielinski hasn't performed great so I doubt he's seen as Mkhitaryan's heir, maybe more like all-around midfield sub. That's where Paz can find his spot. Real has Bellingham and he's young, he ain't going anywhere. Rodrygo is there, Valverde is there, Brahim Diaz is there. They ain't going anywhere.

At Inter Paz could find his spot quite soon. But selling this scenario to the guy might still be hard. Maybe the Argentina connection can play role here. Getting player's mind is anyway paramount in this, no way Real is selling him if the player is not pushing it.

Don't have one.

The most realistic scenario is we get outbid by a team like bournemouth, nottingham or even man utd who recently developed a major fetish for seria a talent.

I have a feeling Nico Paz is not a guy who's going to be interested sign with those clubs, not even United.

Situation could drastically change at Real if Alonso is hired as expected

Barring any unexpected developments (as you're aware of), it's not a matter of "if", it's only a matter of whether it's this summer or next summer. I don't think anybody expects Ancelotti to extend his contract again, no matter how much success Madrid might enjoy in the meantime.

Get him and both Luka and Petar Sučić and our midfield has a bright future.

El Real Madrid tiene y seguirá teniendo a Nico Paz bajo control

No hay lugar a duda. El club blanco cuenta con Nico Paz. El cuando lo decidirá el juego del internacional argentino y las necesidades de la plantilla de Ancelotti

Hope the site isn't a cancerous ad-stricken hell hole, it isn't for me using Brave. In any case, the headline reads "Madrid has and will keep Paz under control: There's no room for doubt. The club is counting on Paz. His time will be decided by the play of the Argentine international and the needs of Ancelotti's squad."

My own conjecture here is that the last bit is a fair degree of nonsense, Nico could setting the world on fire and he still wouldn't get sufficient playing time under Ancelotti to justify a 2025 return, if he returns to Madrid and plays it will be under another manager.

It's probably in our best interest here to hope Ancelotti stays another year and Nico wants a move up now. Feels like our best chance at enticing him for a summer move, provided Oaktree allow the funds for it. When I wrote in the OP of this thread that the Madrid fans I talked with said ~€25m would likely do the trick, that was then. His price is only going up by the game at this point.
