You mean this year, because if we go by the entire season, the first half is probably the best he's ever played for us.
He started amazingly but he died after about a month or two of this season and has been really poor ever since IIRC. Especially since the world cup. We played milan early in the season and he was destroyed by tonali that game.

His goal scoring record is what, 6 goals? He's now at 7 in all comps. He's capable of and should be scoring much more.

For all his potential, he needs to be much more consistent. I don't think anyone will argue with that.

Fucking shite tonight yet again. All you people got deluded after one good performance the other night. He's bang average with a great highlight reel. That's it. Not consistent enough and he's already 26. Sell him in the summer to fuck.

Quite the contrary he was again our motor today. He just can't create by himself. Made few mistakes with the ball when he thinks he should do it all by himself and he's not really as skilled as he seems to think he is. But in general, ran his ass off and tried what he could. Others aren't giving too much support.

He lost the ball countless times. Fucked up an incredible amount of simple passes. Near gave away a goal in the first half trying to flick it over someone's head at the halfway line. He's a fucking over rated clown. I swear if he wasn't Italian half of you would be looking his head. He's no better than lautaro

Tonight was the first time I seen some inter twitter get on his back as well and finally glad to see it.

TBH, I'm not entirely against the sale of Barella. I wonder if he brings a degree of toxicity to the dressing room with the blaming and attitude. I said years ago we needed to move past Ranocchia for us to go up a gear, and I'm starting to feel like we might be in the same place with Barella. Not committed to it yet, but kind of a growing feeling

Most valuable asset. One of the highest paid players on the team.... has not had a great year. Liverpool is also desperate. A very high offer and I say let him go haha.

Not one of these guys on the team has done enough not to be fired (Sold) especially if its a 60-70m offer. Even if all that money goes to the Oak Street loan. So be it.

Even with a bad season he would still be the last player along with bastoni I would sell.
Agree, just wish both of them would string together a quartet of matches, where I'd feel comfortable saying "they are not for sale".

Only reason I'd hate to sell him, is he's showed up in some massive games. We wouldn't have beaten Barca or gotten this far in CL without him.

You cluelessly hated Eriksen and now Barella.

'Fans' like you deserve Gagliardini.

Imagine thinking midfielders like Eriksen and Barella are the issue, dear god...

English announcers on Paramount plus said he is going to Anfield after the goal. They have been rumored to all of MFs.

Hakan has been an upgrade over eriksen.

Tonight barella showed a glimpse of what he can do. He needs to do it way more frequently. He was getting dropped earlier this season for 50 year old mhiki, getting excused as being young whilst being 26.

Great goal tonight. Keep it up.
