That's why the games are low in scoring and why it looks like midfielders are having bad games, when that is the hardest position to play in. Luckily Barella and Hakan currently have the mental fortitude to withstand pressure and keep going on, keep believing we can score and then hold the result.

Barella is having a better season than how you are presenting him.

I mean when he was refusing to come off. I would be livid if I was Inzaghi. There has to be decorum on the field at all times. Any disagreement can be settled in the locker room end of the game.

I wouldn't call it refusing, more like complaining. I'll be happy to write it off as a spur of the moment thing unless it becomes a thing with him.
Inzaghi spends hours and hours every day with the squad, he knows more than anyone how spastic Barella can get and how to handle him.

Shouldn't we be making too much of this? Barella never wants to be substituted and that can only be a good thing. It becomes a problem if he behaves unpleasantly towards Inzaghi or refuses to shake his hand.

He was as happy as a child afterwards, just an in-the-heat-of-the-moment thing.

And I'm just pretending I didn't read that there are people here who would be okay with selling it next summer.

Some players have to be untouchable and Barella is one of them. It would say a lot about the direction we are going as Inter if we sell him, Bastoni or Lautaro.

It's not a big deal until it becomes a big deal... hopefully Inzaghi quashed it after the game. So much is going well, we don't need an unnecessay red card in a crucial UCL match just because Barella can't manage his emotions.

Yeah, it's a problem. Unfortunately the options are limited in altering his behavior. You could bench him, but that really isn't feasible since Frattesi hasn't shown that he can fulfill Barella's role. Strip him the 2nd captain status? Yeah, that worked out so well the last time that was done. His petulant behavior is all that's keeping him from being a great player rather than being just very very good. Whatever, the solution is hopefully it will remain in-house.
