Looks like I've seriously underestimated this guy - good... On the minus side - keep your shirt on kid, you don't have the build required to show off your body :D . But then again that goal was fantastic, can't blame him too much...

I never had any doubts about him as per my first posts. It was always clear he is our best midfielder,for me at least.

You can bet your house we will mention that yellow card somewhere in the future when valero will be playing in some difficult away game but whatever, glad he scored... When all is said and done probably our most complete midfielder.

Good and very important goal but before he scored I was about to say that for his fee and hype I haven't seen that much quality that I was expected.

Still early days and Barella is improving.

MotM for me even aside of the goal. Very comfortable in the movement throughout the match and very energetic and combative in getting involved in every passage of play. He should wary about his yellow cards tally though.

He's been one of the best players of the team in so many matches. Worth every penny even without yesterday's wonder goal.
