There is no way Barella leaves the club, I simply just don't see it...

Jist remember Ibra posed with the new shirt and his new #10 before signing for Barca.

BTW, Suning should fuck off if they accept that offer from Liverpool or anyone else.

I know a player in the a new seasons top means nothing at all, CafeCordoba sums it up though :)

We really can't afford for him to continue like this next season
Seriously?

The bloke has been run into the fucking ground, takes criticism like a boss and still comes back stronger. His version of a 6/10 game is most others at a 7.5/8 and thats when everyone says he is 'Shit'.

He won't leave, but if he does, so will i by a period of time...he is untouchable beyond all measures. If Juve can tell Chelsea to FUck Off for 100m for Chiesa, we can tell the bin dipping scouse retards to keep fucking their first cousins.

He’s the only player I’m not worried about the club selling tbh. I could see anyone being available before they made Nicolo available. And this was before the Euros…

Unless he wants to leave, he’s not going anywhere.

The three CBs, Barella, and Lukaku should 100% be untouchable. That's the spine of the team now, even if I'd rather have sold Lukaku than Hakimi.

I imagine Barella and Bastoni are going to be our poster boys for the foreseeable future. Italian, young, super talented, Scudetto winners and Euro champions.

unfortunately that's also basically saying anyone worth any money in the team is untouchable (except Lautaro)

unfortunately, i suspect there werent good enough offers for Lukaku vs Hakimi.

I think we're definitely trying to build a somewhat Italian core, and like you say, Barella and Bastoni are our poster boys going forward. If we sign someone like Raspadori, as well, that further reinforces it.

You're overrating how good he is when he's bad. I'm a huge fan of his but he was definitely the weak link of Italys midfield past the group stage. He also had some questionable performances near the end of our season. He probably is just tired but I hope he gets past that.

Lukaku were probably seen as the more important player and also player himself definitely didn't want to move anywhere.

Hakimi was here only one year (no attachment to the city etc.) there was immediate interest in the market and the player was okay moving (nice over +50% pay increase also).

Also no serious offers for Lautaro so the player to be sold was easy one.

Barella's evolution worries me a bit. The area he needs to improve (final ball and finishing namely) are the ones he seems quite far off the standard of the aspects of his game he excelles at.

What a year he's had, winning the league and the Euros at his early age while being a massive contributor in both. If it was anyone besides him I would worry about his motivation/commitment levels this upcoming season, specially with everything's that going on with the club right now. Not Barella though, keep doing your thing Nicolo.
