This is a talented player...with Poland he is always good,he was good with Mou at Roma.
Then he went down hill a bit with DDR and the others

Interesting to see him on the right wing as well, we need a replacement for Darmian after all

I'm really surprised that he started immediately in the derby, even though he came from the bench.
It's unusual for Inzaghi, as he usually needs couple of weeks at least to "integrate" a newcomer in the team.
That makes me to think that Zalewski will have a bigger role in the team instead of playing 10-15 min at the end of the games as I thought

The buy is born in Italy, went through Roma's youth system all the way to the first team. I guess he has that something, that inner understanding and knowledge of Italian football and the league.

I can see us redeeming Zalewski if he just proves he's usable.

Maybe Inzaghi realised that we are desperately in need of a player that offers something different to what we already have.

I too agree that it was quite out of character for Inzaghi to start him straight away.

Having shitty attacking options on the bench helped. Inter is the only big club, probably "the only" club in the world right now to sub in two CBs when being 1-0 behind. Zaleswski looked like the biggest attacking option on the bench for Inzaghi to sub in.

I appreciate his efforts although it's obvious that he hasn't understood Inzaghi's philosophy yet. But good thing is that he brings a spark of aggressivity in our game once he comes in. He's an upgrade over Buchanan, which doesn't mean that much, but still, one of positives from our bench.

I fear Zalewski's buyout is depending on Buchanan's sale i.e. if Villarreal will trigger their options, we have funding to pay Roma. Obviously they won't.

I am expecting another but better Bellanova-esque.

Just his tenacity alone is a welcome sight about Buchanan's chronic timidness and lack of involvement, but jeez did his technical game feel very, very off last night.

There’s no way we sign him unless he proves he can be solid at rwb as well. Darmian cannot be Dumfries sub going forward.

Too much headless chicken energy, Inzaghi will have to work on him to try to be one step ahead in his mind what he wants to do when he has the ball.

He's a trillion times the player Buchanon is off his mentality alone. He fits what Inzaghi looks for in a wingback to a tee. I would find the money for this kid because even if he only operates on the left he is a better LWB going forward than Augusto who has showed very little attacking wise since coming here. Augusto is more of a Conte wingback and a natural LCB. We already fumbled Bellanova. Lets not make the same mistake twice.
