It seems like our young players never become anything special (or even half-decent) once they get loaned out. Eliakwu was supposed to be better than Oba and yet he's barely even playing for Triestina in Serie B.

That gets on my nerves too.

You see guys like Aquilani, D'Agostino and De Rossi coming out of Roma's youth teams but you never see anyone amount to anything big out of ours ever since Obafemi Martins yet we always rank as one of the best in the youth ranks. Simply unexplainable, IMO.

atleast Cuper used to give people chances ... Napolitano, Oba, Beati, Biava, Pasquale ... but look at Mancini he did not use Andreolli even when JZ was injured and Cordoba had to play RB. and later when did use Andreolli he was pretty impressive. So why not in the first place when we needed to find someone at RB ?

He was very promising till he injured his knee very badly in a very bad tackle in an italia under 21 game vs england. Before that cuper was giving him a few chances.

from what Ive heard and can tell Marino has started 3 matches and came on as a sub for 2...0 goals though but he is a mid-fielder...hope he does good Im affraid Beati is a lost cause
