Paulo Dybala

Imagine you`re in Ausilio/Marotta`s shoes, would you offer Dybala a contract?

  • Yes - unlock defences and add value: creativity, individual brilliance, attacking outside the box

  • No - serious doubts about his fitness and contribution when it matters the most

Let's be fair, if we land Dybala then rotation immediately becomes Lukaku-Dybala/Lautaro-Politano.

Agreed. But we would be buying him because we can and it's very convenient for Juventus.

Once upon a time, owners could spend whatever the fuck they wanted without regulations and consequence. Our midfield during that time was never good enough to beat milan/juve/roma anyway, so it looked pretty but ultimately wasnt effective because the attack was prioritized over the midfield and signing dybala is a repeat of such errors.

100% agree. Midfield bench is not strong at all....vecino and gags will not come off the bench and change the game....one injury and we are fucked too

Still dybala is a player worth getting IMO and it’s now or never, but we’ll be better off with Sanchez, SMS and hopefully another Sensi type of player.

Problem is that suggested formation takes us a step backward. A 4 man midfield with asamoah and candreva is gonna be crap just like last year, and simultaneously take biraghi and lazaro out of their ideal positions. The problems will get worse because one of barella/brozovic/sensi will have to play from the bench...goodbye 50 million euro. Sensi's dribbling and attacking skills have been a revelation. He has earned his role and barella and brozovic are perfect in support. If we play in a 3-5-2 yeah dybala can partner Lukaku, but I dont think he would be as effective as Lautaro can be with Lukaku playing out wide. At this point, this move makes absolutely no sense. It de-values all of our purchases, and we would have to put the tactics in a blender to accommodate this little shit.

Relax, Conte said that Brozović and Sensi would struggle with 2 man midfield so we can exclude this.

I only want players that are motivated to play for us, and Dybala does not seem to be the case. We are doing our best to offload a cunt, why take another inconsistent primadonna on highest wage? Loanining Sanchez seems risk-free and potentially a great addition, won`t hamper Lautaro`s development in the long run. For all I care, Dybala can stay there and eat bench. Fuck juBentus, let`s not even start any discussion.

Signing Sanchez should put an end to our pursuit of Dybala. I am not disappointed, don't want players who aren't motivated to play for us. Now Juve can only offer money if they want Icardi, which most likely they won't. So Wandito can either accept the Napoli offer, or rot on the bench.

Why does this thread still exist yet we don't have one particularly talking about Sergej's rumour?

Milinkovic Savic has never been close to us. Never reported by any credible journalist or media medium. Just by some dude and his parrot a member of our forum has a fascination for.

But we need SMS.

We absolutely have to get a new midfielder. I am fairly satisfied with the mercato we had, but it all boils down to this now. A good quality midfielder would be the difference between fighting for a CL spot, or for the top 1-2 spots. Vidal is good, but SMS is just what we need now. Come on Zhang, Marotta, do whatever it takes.

There will be no Dybala or SMS because of Icardi being a moron...

SMS relies more on whether we can move vecino/gagliardini + politano

No, SMS will only be feasible if we sell Icardi. Politano is unlikely to fetch us any plusvalenza, and we would be really lucky to get much from Gags/Vecino sales. We need significant plusvalenza to close SMS, and selling Icardi looks like the only realistic way to achieve that.

Of course if we sell Icardi and get SMS, we are likely to sell Gags and/or Politano as well and get a 4th striker. That is the ideal scenario.

Paratici says he's convinced Dybala will stay. "The decision has been made".

This is probably related to Neymar transfer collapsing. Icardi-Dybala swap ain't happening.

Well, whatever, let them keep a player they don't really want. Just don't give them any discounts on Icardi - full price, fuckers.

They can't buy Icardi without selling Dybala or other players. Mostly Dybala because he nets them the biggest plusvalenza. Icardi to Juve is almost impossible unless Inter management accepts some cheeky loan deal which I doubt they will.

Since GdS and Tuttosh1t put Dybala wearing an Inter shirt on their fist page, I think it`s worth discussing in a separate topic.

Man City must avoid Paulo Dybala temptation in summer transfer window - Joe Bray - Manchester Evening News

I did not add the 3rd option "Maybe - on certain conditions in our favor [lower base salary & higher bonuses/lower duration]" because that might not be realistic, given that there are other clubs wanting to sign him.

Too premature. There are no rumours Inter have made a move for Dybala from any reliable sources (Di Marzio/Romano, Pedulla, Biasin) so closed for now.

Also we already had a Dybala thread so it's merged.
