Paulo Dybala

Imagine you`re in Ausilio/Marotta`s shoes, would you offer Dybala a contract?

  • Yes - unlock defences and add value: creativity, individual brilliance, attacking outside the box

  • No - serious doubts about his fitness and contribution when it matters the most

I say, 50 percent is good, for free transfer and reasonable wages. I'm not sure 18/19 or 20/21 seasons were injuries, or realignments. Could be number of things, but overall, getting him is a great deal.

$13 million salary and has less goals than Dzeko ? Starting to think Lukaku would be the better option at least Lukaku has p[roven he can score 20 + goals. We need goal scorers not fancy dribblers

Lukaku is more valuable than Dybala, but also less realistic. Taking Lukaku on an expensive loan deal does nothing to help our club's finances. And unfortunately, the finances dictate the sporting decisions.

But some compare him to big physical guys like Dzeko, Lukaku. if he plays 4-3-1-2, he can feed the ball to forwards, be creative, etc. In that version, 15-16 combined points from 30 games is not bad at all. I agree, 2 seasons were low numbers.

Fuck numbers,Modrić numbers(asists and goals) were never great and still he is one of the greatest midfielders ever. We need healthy Dybala and he will upgrade Lautaro, our midfielders, they will have more asists and goals thanks to Dybala. I am only worried about his injury record, nothing else,he is pure class.

How do these negotiations go, I've always been curious.

Person a: we can offer 6 millions per season plus bonuses per goals.

Person b: hmm let me think about it.

*Cut scene ends

If this eventually happens, it is more than a great transfer. It is a sensational transfer, to the point that even Moggi is so pissed about it.

Took the Scudetto from them. Took the Supercoppa from them. Took the Coppa Italia from them. Now we are going to take their fan favourite from them too.

This is probably like them signing Recoba in his prime from us (though there was never such a thing as prime Recoba).
we really made juve our bitch, this is the highlight of the season. Not even Bayern-BVB level i would say, much better!

Not yet, I believe it's still a big enough chance we miss on Dybala and go for Lukaku instead

Dybala doesn’t have great numbers in G/A in recent seasons, that I agree. But, his specialty isn’t in G/A numbers. Dybala can be useful for our offense to unlock opponent’s defense ergo creating more chances and spaces for other strikers, in this case, Lautaro or Lukaku perhaps. He’s Hakan in front set-play. With Lautaro, both will certainly become a big trouble for the defenders in the league. He just needs supportive environment to perform and I hope Inzaghi can provide that.

I'm fine with this general philosophy, but there needs to be someone there to put the ball in the back of the net. Our starting eleven is devoid of such players. None of our midfielders are talented or reliable scorers. Martinez is a complete spaz in front of net for half the season.

It's concerning.

Exactly. We need someone who can bench Dzeko and step up when Lautaro has his dry periods. We can hope Dybala can stay fit AND our system helps him return to his Palermo and early Juventus standards. Else, current Dybala isn't enough to solve issue in attack. Guy is a gamble and an expensive one.

Depends. If you are talking about numbers, youre probably right. But then everyone at Juve is probably not good enough, even Vhlaovic was disappointing. But im sure that a lot of them would do better with better team mates but also a better coach. Dybala was one of the few players who still gave something to the team in this last months.
What i personally saw the last games and admire a lot is he's precision at game changes or example counter attacks. He make it look very easy. But also he's passing game. And im sure that at Inter it could work better in our "Inzaghi-ball".
