I have a solution: just bring back De Boer, tell him there were mismanagement in the case and we didnt mean to sack you.

If our players do not listen to De Boer who was a great player himself and had 4 league titles as a manager, I don't know how they will listen to Pioli who had a 9 months miracle in Bologna and eventually led them to relegation.

when you said this i think of cappello. but tactically many peoples think capello is already expired

CDS comes up with sensational report that says we have decided to appoint pioli. 1,3 million salary with contract runs until 2018. Pioli is the name strongly proposed by Aussilio.

I always think we should hire Capello, unfortunately he is never convinced with the support given by our boards. As we could see from De Boer, this team doesn't need tactic but discipline. We can bring back Mourinho, get Simeone, Ancellotti, or Pep. Nothing will ever change until our boards start treating our players like footballers not divas.

Tbh, Pioli is the least risky choice here. But Hiddink, as far as I know, has always been successful and influential everywhere he's been except in his recent spell with the Netherlands NT.

Blanc has apparently rejected the job. Smart man!

Why the fuck give Pioli a contract till 2018? If we want to part ways with him in the summer then again we'll add up another redundancy expense in our books.

This management currently is just too much. Just hire a decent coach till the summer, that's it.

The only coaches that are probably willing to sign a 6-month contract are the likes of Edy Reja, Cosmi, Iachini and Ballardini!

According to reports, Blanc asked for a long-term project, something our management is unwilling to give. If we're looking for short-term solutions why are Marcelino and Villas-Boas even on the list? As usual our management makes no sense.

Herrera's grande Inter that gave us 2 European Cups had lots of 1-0s and other results with 1 goal difference. Being unbreakable in defense can absolutely give you an identity and be a philosophy.

This Marcelino dude sounds interesting. We're well suited to play 4-4-2, it would be interesting to see us play with that formation.

Any chance we already have next season's coach in place and we used this opportunity to fire de Boer with political support? Might explain why we only want a short-term caretaker manager.

OK fine - this is very obviously not true, given what we know about Inter mgmt. I'm just depressed and looking for some small hope or joy.

Pioli vs Hiddink for now

Di Francesco, he's the guy i want by the end of the season. Young, knows the league, can bring berardi here. Dont see Simeone as realistic
+1 for Di Francesco but Simeone IS realistic IMO and I believe we will have him. We have the money now, he had his spell at Athletico and I think he reached his peak there. His son is also in Italy now, perhaps he would like to spend time closer to him :) life choices...

The best way to describe Inter Management is : STUPID.
Sacking a coach without having a replacement is true stupidity.

Hiddink, Van Gaal and Villas Boas; None of them will suite Inter. Two are old and expired, and the last is a looser.

The best option IMO is :Laurent Blanc. Good record with ambition to win.
My second choice would be Stefano Pioli , if there are no other alternatives.
Yepp. Blanc might be too smart to get into this circus at this point, and he probably politely refused INTER by asking for too much. He also doesn't want his career to be damaged by this management, he saw what happened to Frank, why would he come?! :chan: Plus all these Simeone rumours... he's not coming just to be fired you know. He's upper class.

Mancini at least can squeeze some 1-0 result, he defends with numbers of players at the back and have no clue how to attack. But he still get some result with his boring football.

De Boer knows how to move the ball fast and fluid, his football is entertaining. But he has no clue how to stop counter attack. Every mid and low table are happy to break us with counter attack football. Plus our attack is too relied on Icardi. 70 % of goals scored by just one players, which makes us too predictable.

If Suning can get Hiddink, then I am all for it. He knows how to bring out the best from the players and he has an excellent caretaker history.

I guess it`s Pioli or Hiddink... I would rather go for a coach that has relevant Serie A experience at this point of the season, because Hiddink knows little about Serie A squads/tactics/mentality or our current squad. But perhaps he would tinker quicker than FdB thanks to his experience.

Eventually it might be Pioli because nobody else wants to take this job? It`s not like we are in an attractive position :rollani:

Also if we already had next seasons coach why offer pioli a contract till 2018?

Anyways i think marcelino and hiddink would be good choices, only problem is that their philosophy is also gonna take time to implement since they als differ greatly from what we head before fdb.

Time is the one thing we don't have, unless we want to right off this season. Suning clearly don't have time for indulging managers, after spending all that cash who could blame them?

Yes, lets get a coach who wants to pay an entirely different formation...that would be typical Inter. Coz the players aren't mentally fucked up enough by 2 coaches in 3 months already...

Well, I do blame them. Spending money on players/positions the coach doesn't want and then being impatient is the WORST kind of management.

Aliano already answered that :D

+ Mandorlini & Zenga :D

we need a real man to handle the dressing room, not desperate unemployed coaches.

> Stefano Pioli
_1389176594.jpg

Age: 51
Points per match as manager: 1,39 [but during his 2 years Lazio spell PPG: 1,67!!!]
Success rate as coach:
36,1 % Wins [but he mostly coached poor teams TBH]
31,0 % Draw
32,9 % Losses

> Guus Hiddink
_1354089518.jpg

Age: 69
Points per match as manager: 1,89
Success rate as coach:
56,1 % Wins
20,9 % Draw
23,0 % Losses

> Andrea Mandorlini
1294-1407318118.jpg

Age: 56
Points per match as manager: 1,52
Success rate as coach:
40,0 % Wins
31,7 % Draw
28,3 % Losses

___just for the comparison`s sake, I will also post Di Francesco, Blanc & Simeone`s current stats:

> Eusebio Di Francesco
_1390917217.jpg

Age: 47
Points per match as manager: 1,41 [@ Sassuolo: 1,61 between 2012-2014 and 1,45 starting again from 2014]
Success rate as coach:
38,5 % Wins
25,3 % Draw
36,3 % Losses

> Laurent Blanc
_1368022858.jpg

Age: 50
Points per match as manager: 2,16
Success rate as coach:
65,6 % Wins
18,9 % Draw
15,5 % Losses

> Diego Simeone
2868-1471945957.jpg

Age: 46
Points per match as manager: 1,90 [with 2,11 @ Atletico]
Success rate as coach:
56,2 % Wins
21,8 % Draw
22,0 % Losses

PS: Football is not only about stats, especially if they are recorded in the Mickey Mouse League:

> Frank de Boer
t_8371_610_2012_1.jpg

Age: 46
Points per match as manager: 1,98 [but @INTER: 1,21]
Success rate as coach:
58,7 % Wins
21,7 % Draw
19,6 % Losses

Maybe Di Francesco after this Season if Pioli will not make miracles.
