Conte stays another year, he is a winner and has the passion for the game to make the team take another step forward. Come 21/22 re-assess by then Conte would be tired and the players will probably need a break running like madmen out there for him.

In comes Allegri, softer managerial style and flexible to see when we need in a change in the game or outside of it.

the only coach from the recent rumours that would adapt to our squad potentials and strength is Allegri. he is definetely using 4 3 1 2, 4 3 2 1 or 3 5 2. i dont think Suning would overhaul the squad. even Conte didnt get some of his requests.

I’d prefer to continue with Conte as I think he’s our best chance of winning the scudetto again. Even if he is a stubborn, whiny gobbi fuck. I’m not anti Allegri if that’s what it comes too but all things considered, we did pretty good in year 1 under Conte. We have a great wingback in Hakimi arriving and an extremely promising midfielder on the verge of joining us as well. This is a good squad that can only get better IMO and I hope Conte will reconsider and see at least next season through.

Yeah. From what Di Marzio said yesterday we shouldn't expect heavy spending on players ala Hakimi without a sale this summer due to covid.

if we can just get rid of our unwanted players (including salary) we'll save like 90mil a year of spending. we've got money, its just squandered on people like Lazaro, Vecino, Godin (less so lately, but still), Gagliardini, Joao Mario, Nainggolan, etc.

They are probably thinking if we end paying conte huge amount of money (about 48 mil I think) we could go for a cheaper option like mihajlovic or de zerbi. But i dont think that will happen, even if he goes we aint paying him full contract it will probably be some sort consensual agreement on both sides.

Tbh a discount coach makes no sense for a club in the CL. If a coach can make the difference between group exit and knock out exit hes paid his wage already.

Of course, not saying that formation is perfect and will give us CL. I mean that with what we have already roster wise and with tonali which seems almost done there is no reason to prolong the conte drama and feed media with news. Do the meeting ASAP, if he agrees to believe in the club project OK, if not fuck him and move on with a proved alternative such as Allegri.

There is no reason to prolong this climate of uncertainty when the club seems such in a good position now just because the coach decided to play drama queen

We are not by any means in fuking year 0 again, if Conte leaves. We are second in Serie A with a pretty good mix of young promising players (Hakimi, Bastoni, Barella, Lautaro and pretty sure Tonali) and a battery o good players in their prime (Skrniar, de Vrij, Brozo, Eriksen, Lukaku, Brozo). There is enough qualty in this roster.

Exactly that's what I've been saying about our transfer strategy where some people have chewed me out so much. With barella sensi hakimi hoprfully tonali, bastoni etc weve got an amazing core for this team. All of them could easily be here in 5 years time too. Very different to some of our previous strategies.

I also think that if Conte leaves, Allegro is the best available option. Apart of Hakimi and Tonali, he can ask for 2-3 players in order to balance the squat as per his vision. Appointment of Poch or Sarri is begging for massive investment upfront, as we have no wingers.

That's already the narrative in the media. While Conte wants a squad overhaul in order to fight for the Scudetto, Allegri already likes the squad and he won't ask for many changes.
