It's pointless to set any expectations right now when we haven't had the slightest clue about our mercato. Every day we have rumours about another player getting sold. We can have this discussion around August.

Yes, after the end of mercato deadline for sure.

Let’s wait until the end of the season.

Only way we fire the coach is if we don't make Champions league(we need 4-5 straight loses for this to happen with the other teams winning all of them).

He has us in 1st place and out of the champions league group.... with a weaker squad than last season and no transfer money.....

WTF do you people want....

Surely there would be nothing but praise for Inzaghi.

He has done brilliant for all the hurdles he had to face for the first half of the season.

Let’s wait until the end of the season.
First two months of 2022 are going to be decisive as we face Milan, Napoli and Atalanta during that period. Inzaghi's big test. If we manage to do well, then Scudetto is ours to lose.

From the standpoint of realism, yes. We can’t afford to fire him. From the standpoint of does he deserve it, not at all too soon. What everyone thought of him at Lazio is what he’s done here. He is horrendous defensively and his subs hardly make a difference.

He lost the scudetto as the unquestionably most talented team in the league. Our team is donkey slow, the defense has been ABHORRENT given the quality of the individuals, and our midfield has been toasted by the only two competent teams we’ve played.

We nearly came back today in spite of him. Not because of him. He waited too long to make the subs, and made zero adjustments at halftime despite Milan dominating the game.

I’m not even completely sure what Inzaghi does well. He allows for more attacking freedom than most coaches however this has killed our defense.

I like Inzaghi as a coach at Lazio. His teams are fun to watch and always will provide goals. But he is not complete enough as a coach to be at a top 4 club in a league. My hope is we’re sold and somehow Simeone ends up here but that’s virtually impossible. We’re stuck with him, for better or for worse.

Its start of the season, at least wait until the Winters break.

Too quick to change the coach will just leave us a worse position.

I’s pretty clear now that Inzaghi is not big club coach. I think he has had enough time to make his mark. He clearly lack leader abilities and reminds me of Mr Bean.

I would consider Pochettino or Bielsa. Tuchel if he get sacked? I wan’t to see 4 backline.

Zang won't change the coach unless we are too many points off from top 4.

Too soon. Inzaghi is safe unless a top 4 finish is at risk. And honestly i don't who we could realistically get that would be an improvement with current squad. Squad is built only for 3-5-2. We don't have wingers to play any variation of 4-3-3 and i have my doubts even a diamond would work. So we would need to find someone who either plays with 3-5-2 or he's tactically flexible and adjusts to his players.

Tuchel would be great but can we really afford him? The fact he doesn't stay at his clubs for long is a concern though. 2 years at Dortmund. 2 1/2 years at PSG. Now it looks like he could leave Chelsea even earlier. There's a pattern. Also do we really want Tuchel and Lukaku in the same team again? :D

I used to rate Pochettino at Spurs but his stint at PSG was really disappointing. I fear his level is Spurs. Big gamble to take in the middle of a season. Also can we really afford his salary? I think we need to lower our expectations.

Then who else is left? De Zerbi? Villas-Boas? Bielsa? Rose? Are they really an upgrade over Simone?

If we want to move on from Simone next summer i feel our most realistic options are either Juric, if we want to stick with 3-5-2, or Italiano if we want to go for a rebuild.

Grande, let Inter pay for another coach and hire a new one given the financials. Wait until May, because Inter will be selling/losing players anyway. Inter then can start anew. As for candidates: probably Juric or Italiano but why would they come given the constraints? Tuchel (if available) no thanks and probably too expensive, Pochettino, meh and I betcha he'd cost a bundle too. Not a lot to choose from at first glance. If interested, probably need to look at coaches in the Europa and Conference League tournaments and see if there is a hidden gem.

Coaches shouldn't be judged based on their PSG experience, but generally I don't like Tuchel.

The problem isn't sacking Inzaghi, The problem is who to replace.
I'm pretty sure even Poch is considered an expensive option by Suning's standards, so we'll probably end up with another mediocre coach from Serie A.
