Hi guys, I need a personal favour from you. It's very simple. Please vote for the FOUR teams you think will be in the World Cup 2006 semi-finals. :) Why, you ask? It's for betting using the forum's money. :):D:p Jokes aside, it's for a game competition my brother is having. He'll get a pretty decent reward (Non-monetary, only in his little computer game) if he guess all 4 right.

My votes goes to the Czech Republic, Brazil, Argentina and Italy but the more opinion, the better.

So please, vote just FOUR and help your fellow Nerazzurra brother. Thanx. :)

Hand;)yo

PS: I apologise I look like a tyrant, abusing my admin power for my "personal ambition".

Spain - cuz they looked fkin sharp today

Argentina - they did not disappoint even with half their talent on the bench

Italy - On our good games with the proper lineup we can destroy any team...injuries will plague us though

Brazil - team with the most quality in the WC, even though they didn't impress too much we all know what they're capable of and I do believe they'll make it to the semis

Germany - World Cup Hosts always managed to do well, with Germany being the host this time, I'm pretty much sure they can get the job done.
Argentina - Unfortunately, even without the presence of J.Z and Samuel.
Italy - Biased choice :D.
Spain - 1 game changed my mind about Spain.

Bye Brazil :p.

No surprises in this World Cup. I feel that the best a "small" team can do is just qualify from the group stage.

Also Argentina-Czech and Portugal has many chances to reach the semis ;)

EDIT: Since the topic does not seem much of a tyrant one :)lol:), I think you should just rename it to who will reach the semis :)

My first option is Czech Republic. They will kick Brazil out, if Italy came first.

Spain: have played the best football so far.

Italy: have also played very well, and they still haven't shown all their potential.

Argentina: Played decent so far but I think they can go all the way (unfortunately)

Brazil even though they played badly in their first game, then its' a team you just can't count out of it.

I think so as well...and if Italia is 2nd, then they will kick Brazil out.

That´s why this isn´t possible ->

I only know three teams (for sure) that´ll be in last four: Czechs, Argentina and Italia. Fourth team could be someone like Portugal, Sweden, Holland, Germany or so.

Trinidad and Tobago: Have shown they have the potential to go all the way, best attack in the tournament for sure.

Saudi Arabia: Amazing all round team, showed great potential vs Tunisia, some Sheikh will pay them all the way.

Togo: My favourites for the cup, all round team - strong and skillfull.

Ghana: Amazing accuracy in front of goal, their brilliant finishing could take them all the way!

Spain: Great start, the best of all the teams so far.

Italy: Looked organized vs Ghana, can still improve.

Brazil: Will scrape their ways to the semi's but definately not win the whole thing.

Argentina: Great team with a great mix of players, game with Holland will show us more.

Fabio ;)

I voted for Argentina, Brazil, Italy, and Spain. They all have the quality to go through. Brazil didn't look good in their first match, but with the top quality players they have, the can only get better. I actually think Ronaldo might pick himself up after Brazil's first match, and actually perform.

Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Argentina.

Italy - A lot of class on this team, and I feel that with the "luck" they got in the first match to actually get this tournament started off on the right foot is huge. I think we are the favorites and am encouraged by what I've seen of Toni and Totti so far.

Czech Republic - Almost everybody's "darkhorse" among teams like Ivory Coast, Holland and Portugal. I think they are well organized and technically superior to many of the top teams in the WC, and perhaps they'll be able to defeat Brazil.

Argentina - I hate to admit it, but this side is way too deep which'll be way too difficult for many teams.

Germany - The home side with more talent then given credit for, IMO.

Germany - they play at home, they are very strong... and more and more...
Netherlands - i love they're style.
Italy - they win ghana playing bad, if they play good like in the friendlys vs holland and germany they can win everybody.

I thought this is impossible? Brazil will face Czech or Italy (or other teams in group E, but in that case Czech or Italy is out) in 2nd round no matter what.
