But that's the point though isn't. That everything being said about Ausilio right now is assumptions not facts.

We can be condemning him based on assumption.

As for Zanetti he might not be in all the meeting and same applies for Ausilio in my opinion, but he will still have enough access to be looked at as a mule based on the point you've made earlier.

Obviously not saying Zanetti is the mule, but just stating that Ausilio being mule because he's the last of previous management etc can't be a valid one in my opinion.

According to GdS, Ausilio is staying at Inter as he recently signed an extension till 2022. Conte's relationship with Auslio is as bad as his relationship with Marotta. The only person from the management who could leave in case of a Conte departure is Lele Oriali.

He can leave too, for all I care.
And while at it, take Di Marzio and that bitch Biasin with him too.

Time for him to go. Let Zanetti and Marotta handle the dealings of the club moving forward. We don't need 2 directors.

Idk what to think about this guy anymore.
For sentimental reasons, I want him to stay, but if he indeed leaks sensitive things about the team to the press, he needs to get the fuck out of here obviously, regardless if Conte stays or not.
Part of me wants to believe he’s not the mule, and part of me wants to suffocate him with bare hands if he’s been a mule all those years we’ve been suffering.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Yeah, being an inter fan, you don’t have faith in anything anymore.
Inter is probably the reason Murphy’s law was invited.

I am having difficulties with getting my head around why any employee of the club would be leaking to journalists information about what is happening behind the scenes at the club. I simply cannot understand why someone would do that, if indeed it is true. Would it be down to Ausilio wanting some of the limelight? Or a trading for information in relation to what journalists know is happening at other clubs?

In terms of the evidence, many posters on here over the years have lamented how everything that is Inter related seems to play itself out in the media. Is that because they are constantly fed information from club insiders? If the rumours are true, leakinig information in that manner that undermines the club and Ausilio should be shown the door. It absolutely explains why some things are the way they are and I do not blame Conte taking issue with it.

I read this morning that the bullet threat and the club's failiure to protect both him and his family, the fact that it was leaked to the media, as well as the leak concerning the conflict between Lukaku and Brozovic after we were eliminated from the Champions League, as well as the overall lack of protection when the team was being heavily criticised after returning from lockdown are the central issues. Apparently, it has nothing to do with transfers.

12 million a year covers all of those complaints. I get the family and bullet one, but ffs what a thing to whinge over rather than moving forward and continuing to work hard with the tools and resources we have already built. Next season had the potential to be WAY EASIER than this way, Conte made sure that wasn't gonna be the case no matter what.

Based on this logic, it can also be Il Capitano Zanetti.

The mole has been around since Zanetti was still a player.

In relation to your post, I do not think money cures all ills nor do I think that his gripes are minor in nature. I think it is a signal of intent from the club to its coach: in the sense that the club is prepared to put its house in order and do what is necessary so that the players and coach can solely focus on playing and winning football games and silverware.

The question I have is why should Conte or any other coach bother if their efforts are being undermined by the club? Shouldn't the club and its management be setting the example? In a way, Conte raising the issue is the exact kind of leadership this shit club needs because it is obvious that we do not know any better.

Allowing things like these leaks to go unchecked disrupts the environment around the club, distracts the players and detracts from what Conte (or any other coach) is attempting to build and work towards as a coach. It is the reason we always get slaughtered in the press; why the media always seem to know about our business as it is happening and why the media shit all over us with rumours and speculation whilst next to nothing is said about our rivals in Serie A. It is the difference between an environment where matters are dealt with privately behind closed doors or out in public in the schizophrenic, unprofessional and disjointed manner that Inter always deal with things.

It is well known that Conte is a control detail orientated freak. It is interesting the mole has been around for so long and no one has realised or had the courage to do anything about it. And perhaps the worst part about this, if it is true, is that our management are seemingly prepared to turn a blind eye or put up with it when its effects are very real and detrimental to the club. That kind of attitude is exactly why we are losers because the club insists on doing the same stupid shit, season after season in the hope that it will get different results. It stinks of Inter incompetence.

In any event, we have had so many false starts and year zeroes over the last decade that another one hardly seems to matter. To be honest, I think it is exactly what our management deserve if they are willing to let this kind of bullshit go uncheked, after a year when we made the Europa League final and actually started to look like a football team.

Who cares about the bullet. This sort of drama happens all the time at football clubs.

Those who want Ausilio out may want to reconsider when Gianluca fucking Petrachi is among the rumoured replacements.

i find it very difficult to understand people who hate Ausilio so much. he loves this club and works his best. of course he makes mistakes here and there but he also has brought some nice signings. in the last 3 or 4 years, he signed us Skriniar, De Vrij, Brozovic, Lautaro, and now Hakimi.

if i have to choose, i would rather have Ausilio than a coach who frequently makes noisy mess in press conference despite being paid 11 milion a year.

I dont follow Petraci that much so could you elaborate why you dont want him? Roma is 5th but it is expectable, as their net spent, since Petraci took over, is 20m or something. They got as much as they were willing to pay.

He did not make disastrous signings aka Mario 45m Gabi 35m... did he?

1) He gave a raise (5m net plus 1m bonus) to 33 year old Dzeko in order to keep him at the club when Roma clearly couldn't afford it.

2) He got Spinazzola for 30m. I get it was a plusvalenza deal but it looked silly from the start and now it's impossible for them to offload him.

3) He's very close to Conte so we would basically hand over the strategy to Antonio.

Petrachi didn't have a big budget and he was tasked to clear the mess Monchi left behind but I can't say I was impressed with what he did. He made some decent deals (Veretout, Mancini and the two EPL guys), not sure if there was a real winner in Manolas-Diawara swap as they have both disappointed. So far I haven't seen something to get impressed from his job. Like I have said before, if Ausilio is gone I want an upgrade and I don't see Petrachi as one.
