I still think Zielinski showed a lot more than Taremi, so I personally would keep him (send him here by post).

No, seriously, keep him. Maybe he was not impactful at times when we need him to be impactful, but he wasn't really bad in any game. Maybe one, for the whole season.

I personally expected more from him too. I feel he’s to much of a niche player for us. He’s a stylist in terms of ball control and dribbling, but I expected more from his ball-carrier skills. Imo that has everything to do with the lack of intensity in his game. He just doesn’t look fit enough. While he was never known for his passing, I did expected more in that aspect also.

While I do agree he is a more reliable back-up than Frate or Asllani, we pay Zielinski topclass money. He isn’t worth what we pay him at all atm. We should look to offload him if we have the change.

While he has not been a busted flush like Taremi, I'm another that has been somewhat disappointed with the Pole. The profile was right in bringing in a midfielder with a higher technical level who could give us more guile in linking to attack so we were not so dependant on always using the wide areas, but while you can see he is evidently a skilled footballer, he does not really bring any personality to the position. It's odd that the best performance I think I have seen from him was his full debut at Man City when he was excellent and set up high hopes for the season ahead.

Being injured at crucial times when he could have had the chance to really step in and show his value have not helped of course. I'm fine with him staying next season but not as the Miki replacement we assumed he would be, more an ongoing back up. I think if we want rid of Frattesi and Asllani then that's enough upheaval in one area of the pitch in one summer.

The one good thing about selling Frattesi and Asllani is they can easily fetch us 40-50 mill, which is enough for a Mkhi replacement. Zielinski due to his age, won't bring in much. He'll be 31 in a month.

Have a feeling that Taremi and Zielinski will be with Inter next season. Both have been disappointing and injured so far this season. Their resale value will be nil.

and how do we pull 3 decent replacements for Frattesi, Asllani and Zelensky out of our hat? That's just not happening

Marotta already said there won't be many changes in the squad, probably about 5 + buying Zalewski.

So there's a big chance Zielinski, one of Asllani/Frattesi and one of Taremi/Arnautović stay at Inter for one more season.

New RWB, Buchanan out, maybe De Vrij and Acerbi are staying for one more year even if a new CB comes, depends on how ready this CB is, Correa out, new striker in, maybe one of the Espositos coming back, also Sučić incoming. That's 5.

in this case i bet my money on Asllani staying, maybe eben both of Arnautovic and Taremi as 4th/5th option since we cant find a buyer for Taremi and decent backup for Arnautovic

I have a feeling this summer is the last window to go for somebody like Krstović as the fourth option in attack and save some money in wages if we let Arna, Correa and Taremi go. At worst, keep Arna and bring one of the Espositos, but also bring somebody to be the third option. In my opinion, Paz would be very good as somebody that could be tried as Mkhitaryan's replacement, but if that wouldn't work out, he'd still bring a lot to our attack as a second striker as the possible 3rd option.

I also think it's a bigger chance that Asllani stays, as we don't know if Sučić will be better as a regista or as a B2B

5th option for Taremi would be extremely decreased his playing chance to the FIFA World Cup with Iran NT. I don't think Taremi wants that.

That is the reason to get rid of him and keep Arna instead. He won't mind being a fifth choice as he doesn't have power for something more

LOL common now Taremi is gonna play for Iran if he s fit no matter if he s first second or 10th choice

While i m not opposed to keeping arna instead of taremi it aint that easy... As in i think we can only pull this if mehdi wants to leave and even then i m not sure it s smart to keep arna as 5th choice....

Mkhi is 36 years old though. Either they're banking on Zielinski being a FT replacement, which he hasn't shown, or they're going to have to sell some Frattesis/Asllanis to fund the new midfield buy.

If Sučić turns to be good enough he can fit in Mhiki position.

Taremi was lucky to got 1478 minutes this season so far because Marco and Tucu sometimes got a longer injury this season.

Let say Taremi will gonna get Tucu little minutes (453 minutes) next season by relegate him to 4th-5th forward, and contribute without G/A. I think Iran NT will diminish him from their NT squad soon, like Tucu got from his NT.
Do you think Taremi will stay with Inter along the season? I think not. Maybe Taremi will leave Inter soon, either summer or winter.

Marko is grateful, by score a lot of Goals and Assists from February and contribute a lot. Marko deserve another contract with Inter, Inter need him and Marko need Inter to ensure him into FIFA World Cup for Austria NT by settle his future at club levels.
