Just to get back on this: His contract is running until 2022 and Ajax is struggling to renew it. Is playing very very good this season in the Eredivisie and in the CL. He scored 4 goals and assisted 2 in 11 games in the Eredivisie and had 1 assist in the CL. Technical and going forward he is very good. He seems to better himself at defending this season and is sharp as a knife. Surely this guy is way better than Dumfries and we could get him for free in the summer. For me a no-brainer. Technical and tactically way better than Dumfries. Pace isn't bad either. Only thing Dumfries is better is his physique, but fortunately we play football and not rugby.

You might want to look into why Isco doesn't play first. The AMF position is a dying one.

Napoli wants to sign him in the winter according to som Dutch media.

I've watched an interview of him. Last year he had an eye injury which kept him in bed for 6 weeks. After that he really started to look after himself, what kind of food he is eating, going to the gym more often etc. On average he covers 12km every game this season, for a RB in a 4-3-3 at Ajax who normally always play at the opponents half that quite impressive.

It was a joke, but anyway Isco is a free agent. If he asks for a reasonable wage (for Inter), I'd take him cuz with departures of Eriksen, Brozo, Vecino and Vidal, a gap in the middle will be opened. There is also Sensi, who doesn't look capable to stay fit enough even for a 10-12 games, which means that he is useless and will leave as well. ThIs will leave us not only with lack of quality, but with lack of quantity too. If we have new healthy owners, won't be a problem to invest some money, but if not we'll need every decent free agent.

If Perisic farewell is inevitable, then Marcelo would be a top replacement. When was the last time we had a Brazilian in our team? Miranda? That's a shame..
