Van Bommel from PSV is out of contract this summer,good leader ,right footed defensive midfielder,type of play similar to Lampard, all-over the field,penalty,corner&free kick taker,quick pace could replace C.Zanetti if he comes....

But really since you can only wish 4 one player I would have to say Samuel!!!

Van Bommel would be a great addition, but he's pretty much already Barca's property, so there's no chance.

I just can't imagine Vieri being a mentor that is all.

Why? Vieri is a good, if not excellent, and experienced striker. He bang in goals with almost every part of his body when he was in his peak. (I remember reading this somewhere) I'm sure Martins can learn loads from him.

Zidane was one of the best players I have ever witness in my life.
For his age he still does wonders. His touch with the ball is magical.
LOL to be honest, I;d give him a shot at Inter. Common this is Zidane.
While we are at it. Why not get Essien?

Well even though this may sound ridiculous ... i think we need someone like John Terry in defense ... midfield ... perhaps Lampard ... or even Duff ... attack ... Fernando Torres ... or Claudio Tevez ... consider Nigel De Jong ... for defense also ... should do inter a world of good

my favourite formation is 4-1-2-1-2, like AC Milan plays, but in order to play this formation to its best you need an attacking mid/forward: i.e. KAKA.

Other attacking mid/forwards are Ronaldinho, Giuly, Juninho, Totti, Rui Costa, Zidane and in my opinion Recoba would be his best as an central attacking mid, behind our front 2.

Another necessity is an excellent DM, e.g. PIRLO. Who can control the play. All good teams have one of these, Juve has Emerson, Chelsea has Makelele, Man U has Keane and we have Cambiasso (and C.Z).

Then you need 2 good midfielders who play basically LCM and RCM but they also run out wide. Milan has Seedorf on the left and Gattuso on the right. I think we could use Stankovic on the left and Veron on the right. I rate Stankovic and Veron as better players than Seedorf and Gattuso.

Then it's pretty much a normal 4 man defence. Ideally, we could have Chivu-Burdisso-Cordoba-J.Zanetti.

Two strikers are also needed, but strikers are the least of our worries.

The dream player I'd like to have for this formation is obviously RONALDINHO. He is the best there is when it comes to attacking football.

In defence, a player like Nesta or Cannavaro would be ideal but for f*cks sake... :frustrat:
